seeing that the Rangers are bring 11 Outfielders to ST (not counting Moreland). Choice, Choo, DeShields, Hoying, Ludwick, Martin, Peguero, Richardson, Rua, Schierholtz and Smolinski. should be an interesting competition for 5 spots
What five are you picking? Should be very competitive.

well 2 are set with Martin in CF and Choo in RF and i think Rua will probably be our primary LF'er so that leaves the 2 back-up OF positions which could end up being Ludwick and Schierholtz but like i said way too early to call

Agree on Rua Choo Martin. Totally lost after that.

We need an OF who can play CF besides Martin. Neither ludwick nor Schierholtz fit that bill.

I sure hope someone can beat out Schierholtz.

I'm betting Schierholtz is being looked at as AAA depth and maybe a lefty pinch hitter/bench guy. I'm still betting the OF is Rua/Martin/Choo.

Will be surprised if that's not it.

Yes, him too. Guy is kind of a sleeper to be a really good ML every day starter IMO.

I am still puzzled that he couldn't get a look last September. A CF who had an OPS of .842 last year at AAA is very impressive to me. If Leonys struggles he had better watch out for Hoying.

Same here and Smolinski was impressive in his time with the Rangers.
