With all of these young starters it may very well mean Detwiler is destined for the pen.
I'd be surprised if they don't break camp with Darvish/Holland/Gallardo/Detwiler/Lewis.

He was still a better option than Darren Oliver and Scott Feldman.
What about Long Ball? You forgot Long Ball!
Answering myself here ... was thinking you were talking about 2012 WS. You were talking about 2011.
Koji was worn out by BAL before he came over.
Lowe came over with Lee but was on the DL pretty much through the end of the regular season. But he made up for it in 2012 and especially in Game 6. Long Ball has a prominent spot on my Rangers Wall of Infamy.
2011 was game 6. I hate Mark Lowe. 2012 was the late season collapse with Hamilton dropping pop flies.
And Michael Young hitting worm burner after worm burner to second base. Thus, prompting me to come up with GIDPMY.
2012 was a big gut punch. Nothing has gone right since the game 6 debacle.

F Mark Lowe, was so happy to see him go to the Angels and continue his flat throwing, long ball giving up ass continue to suck there

Lefthander Andrew Faulkner in 2014: 104 innings for Myrtle Beach, 30.2 for Frisco, almost all as a starter. He’s now four years out of high school.
Ross in that final year on the farm, per nine innings: 7.5 hits, 0.3 homers, 1.8 walks, 7.5 strikeouts.

Faulkner in 2014, per nine innings: 7.6 hits, 0.3 homers, 3.0 walks, 8.9 strikeouts.

And there have been suggestions (see your 2015 Bound Edition) that Faulkner, who has a little funk in his delivery, could end up as a power reliever who works late in games.

The lanky Faulkner and the stocky Ross don’t necessarily profile similarly on the mound, but the Ross example at least suggests the Rangers might have a taste for pushing one of their better prospects to see if he might be as suited for a role right now as anyone they could go spend free agent dollars on, or trade for.

Texas gave non-roster invites last week to pitchers Chi Chi Gonzalez, Alec Asher, and Keone Kela, third baseman Joey Gallo, catcher Pat Cantwell, and outfielder Jared Hoying. It wouldn’t be shocking to see Faulkner get a late invite, especially in light of the new absence of Ross.
Keith Law has his farm system rankings out. Do we have any ESPN insiders who can tell us where the Rangers rank this year by Keith Law?
according to the rangers site, Ranaudo is our #6 prospect where do you rank him?
