Prince says he was bullied as a kid. I bet those who bullied him sure hope he doesn't hold a grudge. lol

Even if he was teased on for being fat he was still Cecil Fielders son. I would think that he would be less bullied because of that and think he's kinda 'cool' because he is the son of the famous MLB player.

I actually noticed that too. I must say it did look odd but then I guess in general I'm just used to seeing that hat look in general that beyond the oddity of it I didn't think much of it but I do agree that during team/media functions he should be advised not to wear his hat that way.

MY ought to take him aside and explain what the corporate expectations are ...

Not Rangers related but very much newsworthy and he was born and raised in Dallas.

Did anyone else see the picture on the Rangers Facebook page of Rougned Odor at the most recent Winter Caravan signing session? I mean, I know he's young and immature, but you'd think that someone would have told him that wearing a SnapBack hat diagonally backward and tilted was not the best way to represent the team or himself when interacting with the fans. The only thing missing was pants sagging below his ass. I know baseball players aren't fashion icons or choir boys, but I think we can do better than the ghetto thug look. Martin Perez is sitting next to him in a Rangers jacket and ski cap, looking every bit the Major League ball player, and Odor looks like some trashy little hood rat they pulled in off the street.

I know it's much ado about nothing, but I've just never seen any Ranger player ever dressed like that at a team event.
I don't like that crap on anybody any where.

Never saw his Cubs make it to the World Series. He will be watching over Wrigley Field until that day comes ... so his number 14 should be retired across all of MLB until that comes.

The Texas Rangers eliminated their last potential salary-arbitration case on Friday, signing first baseman Mitch Moreland to a one-year deal.

Moreland received an 11.3 percent raise to a base salary of $2.95 million. An additional $25,000 is available in incentives.

Moreland dropped to .246 with two homers, 23 RBIs and a .347 slugging percentage last season. His season ended in July because of an ankle injury that required reconstructive surgery. Morleand has said he expects to be at full speed when spring training begins.

The Rangers have not gone to arbitration with a player since 2000, when they beat Lee Stevens.

Right-hander Ross Ohlendorf, who spent last season on Washington’s 60-day disabled list, signed a minor-league contract with the Texas Rangers on Friday.

Ohlendorf, of Austin, pitched only 14 1/3 innings in the Nationals’ minor-league organization. In 2013, he was 4-1 with a 3.28 ERA for 60 1/3 innings as a swing man with the Nationals.

New Rangers manager Jeff Banister is familiar with Ohlendorf. They were together in the Pittsburgh organization from 2008-12.

Wow. If he was forced into a minor league contract teams must have serious questions about his health.

I can remember when the main stations to watch baseball were TBS and WGN so I would watch the Cubs with Harry Carey and Steve Stone. Of course Carey always sounded like he had one too many Buds.

lol I can remember when the only stations you could watch baseball on were NBC and ABC on Saturday afternoons and a few Monday nights. It was so rare back then to get a Ranger game on.

I remember Saturday and Sunday only. No Monday night then and usually Sat/Sun nearly always featured the Yankees. Rangers not born yet.

ABC had Monday Night Baseball from 1976-1979. I had thought it was a bit earlier. By then I think we had a local broadcast of a handful of games.
