I forgot 1B for some reason. You're right. No reason to waste DH with him. Let him play one of the 3 positions and hope he hits like he did last year.

With Sardinas, Deshields & Rua, it allows for a lot of bench flexibility

Those 3 guys can pretty much cover all positions other than catcher

Rua: 3B, 2B, 1B, COF
Sardinas: SS, 3B, 2B, even OF if needed
Deshields: 2B, OF

Sardinas has utility bench player written all over him. I see no reason not to go ahead and put him in that role with the big league club this season.

God I hope so. That is one of the worst cases of the yips I've ever seen.

Pretty unlikely IMO. Between Rua, Moreland, and (get ready for it)........... Fielder I don't see JD adding another guy to the mix.
