you mean on the inactive?

No I mean he makes the 53 man roster out of TC but the Monday or Tuesday before week 1 he is released for business reasons IE contract not guaranteed for the season and don't give up the 7th rounder to the Dolphins. After week 1 we resign him and he plays the rest of the season as swing OT

It would be hard for another team to pick up Martin at the expense of another player on their team. So it is highly likely that he will clear waivers. That plus his baggage with the bullying fiasco I think he will be safe on waivers.

Jon Baldwin - WR - 49ers

ESPN 49ers reporter Bill Williamson believes WR Jon Baldwin conceivably could be converted to a tight end, but says the former first-round pick has "virtually no chance" to make the roster either way.

The tight end comment is just idle speculation. At 6-foot-4, 230 pounds, Baldwin would be on the small side for tight ends, and he has not played the position since high school. The important takeaway is Baldwin's roster spot is still in grave danger despite the salary cut he took in February. Baldwin looks to be nearing the end of his NFL road.

If Baldwin makes the roster, something has gone horribly wrong in camp......
