This is why you have a deep bullpen. The Tigers bullpen was fucking garbage and it cost them a chance at the WS.

yeah, it's over

as much as it pains me, UGHHHHH....I'm going to have to go with the Sox over the Cardinals
Dangit, I wanted to root for Detroit, not the Sox

Looks that way, victorino has done nothing the whole series, then hits a grandslam after pulling scherzer.

Exactly. I'm not really saying I want to give Mitch another chance, I just think they will. It all depends if we actually sign players we're interested in this off-season. Anybody think there's any interest from JD in Choo? He would be a great LF lead off hitter. That finally drops Ian down to 6th.

right, he's cheap...and maybe he does hit.

I'm okay with Choo, he's got some power

I don't want the team signing guys older than me unless they are relief pitchers. I'm going to be 29 in December, so there ya go. We don't need guys born before 1980.

I did not realize that Tanaka was 20-0 this past year in Japan. I may be late to the party but heard that Nathan will opt out of his final year as of course he will get more in free agency than 9 mill.

You are right but a person who really has done nothing and made an idiotic out on the base paths is Fielder. As disappointed I am in Mitch I will take him and his salary over Fielder any day.

Yea Fielder hasn't done much with the bat in the playoffs either.

Choo is only 31. I figured you would be all for it. Considering he had a .423 OBP last year. I don't give a shit how old he is if he gets on base 42% of the time in the leadoff spot.

meh, I don't know
forgetting Mitch and just talking about Fielder, he's had a down year, it happens. He's really got his butt kicked even from the fans. What it is about slumps fans don't understand? They're eventually going to sneak up on almost every great hitter.
I don't get Detroit booing Fielder, but then again...don't get booing period, like it helps?

and yes, I could care less that Fielder isn't on this team

Is that outlier? I don't want a 5 year deal do a guy already past 30.

you really need to over this strange obsession with 30, Rev.
Seriously! Plenty of guys are just fine and older than 30

For one to two seasons maybe. 5 year deals for guys post 30 are super risky. It's a bad idea.
