Lainey, they just paid the Rockies to take a guy so they could afford the two meh pitchers they signed. They did not get better today.

Oakland is placing a lot of faith in really young pitching and Scott Kazmir, and their position players to continue playing out of their minds. I don't think their the powerhouse some make them out to be.

I don't expect them to have so many career years at the plate, and I think losing Colon and Balfour will hurt them. Not saying they'll be Astro bad, but not clear cut better than Rangers
