Dodgers want EA in a deal involving kemp. This is where I say no dice. I assume that's their high asking price. If so, then I'm sure a reasonable negotiation process would eliminate EA from the discussion

Gotta ask for the moon... would be odd not to.

Not sure if colby would be ready. Everyone here says he will be, but I havent really heard any recent updates on his health

Perhaps the Rangers will try starting one of Ogando,Feliz, or Ross? Also don't forget about Jason Frasor!

I just have a hard time seeing Ross as a starter and while Ogando does a good job much of the time as a starter I just think he has shown he does not hold up.

I couldnt tell you what he might offer, but JD has spoken to Ned Coletti multiple times in the past week. I would assume his offer would depend on the cash the dodgers take. JD is very interested though. In fact, I would go as far as to say that if matt kemp is traded, it would be too us. I can't speak for any of the other GM's actions, so I don't really know who else has talked to LAD, but I know we have multiple times and we have the pieces to do it without a doubt.

I think if he gets traded its to us are the Red Sox

There's no way JD is that stupid. About the only way EA should be traded is if it nets a Price or Stanton(and those two teams would ask for Profar+ due to EA's contract).

You'd trade EA for Price? The only reasonable options I'd trade him for are Cargo and Stanton, and that's only because Trout and some others arent reasonable

Hey Terps, read this....VERY interesting, I really think Greinke wanted to come here. The money might not have been that far off.

But the most fun? BELTRE is his favorite player!
:)

Greinke admits money was reason, made Texas offer before LA deal - CBSSports.com

How can you not like Greinke after reading that article? Seriously? haha But I had heard (not from my scout friend mind you) that we offered him one less year and less money. We were intentionally offering less and using the tax thing as the reason why. But perhaps I'm wrong lol

I can't imagine JD trading 50 lbs of cabrito for this guy.

For heavens sake, he's had 2 shoulder surgeries, and is still in a walking boot from a "sprained" ankle - which will keep him sidelined for ST - and we're seriously considering this move.

Can't see it. Am I on an island here?

Agree with you Don. He may turn out fine but rolling the dice for a guy that beat up just isn't in the cards for me. Wish him the very best and a strong recovery.

No, the idea of Kemp is ridiculous.
