When Brown broke his arm I am sure I and everyone else in the world knew that the game was over. Then crazy shit went down.

Vince Young went Jason Bourne on everyone's ass and Huff makes the kind of tackle that ensures he'll never pay for a drink in Austin for rest of his life.

Pretty anxious day of football watching for me. Fantasy football playoffs have begun, so it's nothing but nerves and self doubt from here on out.

My shitty 5-8 team made the playoffs, so I don't care. It's arbitrary garbage anyway. I drafted 5 players that ended up on IR. Rodgers, Cutler, Foster, Finley, and Cobb.

I love you Rice student section.

The young man holding the sign up cracked me up as much as the actual poster did.

I remember as if it was yesterday my sons and I were actually sitting on the end of one of their beds watching the UT-USC game and we could hardly sit still that last quarter. We wanted USC to lose so bad because that was all the media ever talked about was how great USC was. And that was not the first time VY took the team on his shoulder and willed a win. I remember him taking over the OK St game. Nothing difficult about the play calling there. Even Young's passes were pinpoint. But the guy ran like a gazelle. And the game the year before against Michigan was epic as well just not as much on the line.

One of those great college athletes that just couldn't find real success in the NFL.

See the Yankees are open to trading Ichiro. There was a time I would have loved to have him as our lead off hitter.

Right. Definitely one of the best college QBs of all time. If Mack Brown had a brain in his head he would have won a title with Major Applewhite but started Sims in that Big 12 title game and he threw something like 3 INTs right off the bat. Applewhite almost bailed them out.

There's a nice stack of cash on the line in my league, plus the all important bragging rights...injuries are a bitch though.

Eric Crouch was the one that was before his time. He was born a decade too early to be an NFL QB.

I had completely forgotten about this guy. You're a 100% correct on him.

wow....didn't remember him having all those fumbles. That's a terrible stat to go with only 12 rushing TDs.
