As soon as Choo gets signed everyone will hop on the Cruz bus till someone signs him then hop on another bus.It is amazing how quick yall can go from one player to the next.I hope we sign someone quick before this thread gets 750 posts lol

Everyone has pretty much been in on McCann an Choo the whole time. JD has not shown any interest in overpaying. So while he pretty much fits perfect, I doubt it happens. I think we will trade for our LF or go into the year with some youngsters fighting for the spot. If that happens we're in deep shit.

If Choo is determined to be unreasonable (and I think he may be), we may want to consider Brett Gardner if Yanks move him...he can play LF and be lead off....and yes, we better get a power bat for DH, we would need it!!

If we have to overpay for Choo, so be it. He solves several problems/holes with one bold stroke. Lead off, catalysis, LF.

But who knows what those wheels in JD's head are spinning for us?

Detroit says they're not in on Choo. That doesn't really mean anything, but I don't think we can allow Choo to go to Seattle. They're supposedly the main competition.

Thats just a dumbass thing to report, aren't they all looking to make that kind of trade. Problem is you need the other team to do that and I don't think the Vikings play in the MLB last I heard

I think JD is trying to keep us competitive while we are getting lots younger look at the players moved and the ones signed to replace

They can keep David Price do not want to further gut our minors for two years of Price.I wish they would try and get Shelby Miller from the Cardinals younger and a right handed pitcher which we need more then another lefthander

Miller would probably cost more prospects now that STL has Peralta at SS.
