See the Astros signed Crain for 1 year. After the year he had last year is there a reason a contending team did not pick this guy up? Not sure if I am missing something here.

The Rays got him at the deadline and he never pitched for them because of a shoulder injury.

Odor was in the lead or 2nd in doubles and average at Myrtle Beach when he was promoted to Frisco. Then in 134 ABs had a 530 slg pct and hit 306. This like you said at the age of 19. He turns 20 in Feb. I like Alfaro as well. Gallo has to cut down on the strike outs and Nick Williams and Brinson we have to see how they progress. As of now I see no place for Sardinas but he and Odor are a couple of years away. They should start back at Frisco. Not sure where the others will start the season at.

Gallo making some leaps and bounds quickly, would sure be a nice deal for us in 2-3 years

I know this is not the Cowboys blog but a fan response in regards to JJ stating that we lost 5 games by 8 points and feels we are close to being a Super Bowl contender and that he will do some things in the coming weeks to prepare the Cowboys for that (did not say what that is)

"We won 3 games by seven points which using Jerry Jones logic means we are really close to being 5-11 again. He is an idiot"

Had to laugh at that. Okay-back to the best team in town.

Morales seems a little more likely at this point, and I'm ok with that, time for Cruz to move on IMO

Especially since TEX has given Choo #17 to wear ...

Its not that I'm against Mitch, but if you sign Morales then it gives you the chance to trade him to upgrade the rotation. And I wanna be all in this year. That would give us the best chance.


I mean think about it. We gotta sign a right handed bat anyway. Morales is a switch hitter, so he'd DH basically every day. We might as well avoid platooning the DH spot plus get a decent pitcher. My chips are in

He wouldn't be coming off a knee surgery and he's not as big of an asshole. Sure he played for two rivals, but that can be forgiven.

I don't think Morales will be no where near as bad as Berkman was, he's not coming off an injury and is way younger

That said, being a DH only type, he doesn't hold much value, so I'd just assume roll with a
Moreland/Baker/Whoever Needs a Day Off platoon
