That's what I mean. I meant a Moreland led package, not just him alone. I don't think there are any ACES available anyway. But a right handed pitcher with some good playoff experience would help. I don't think it would take much more than moreland, sardinas, and a lower prospect since many teams are running out of options

Don't see reason a team would trade a #3 SP for Moreland et.al. Trading for a #4 is like buying some old used car ... and IMO you don't trade for someone else's #5s. That doesn't make you better for what you suggest spending.

but, I may have to wait till others go to bed to watch that. I saw it years ago, and thought it was fantastic

So I read a post today on LSB that said Texas leads the league in international born players with 11. Oakland only has one and I believe that would be Cespedes.

I'm really excited to watch it again, I do remember Mason being fantastic...and Garland was of course, ridiculously gifted

They also have several foreign born pitchers, but none were a shoe-in for the 25 man

As a Ranger fan, it's great to support a team that actively works in the offseason to improve their club. This offseason has been fun so far! Compare this with my current hometown Braves, what a dud of an offseason for them. The highlight of their entire hot stove season is signing Gavin Floyd....wow, World Series here they come....been boring, boring, boring......
