I know it's really early, but based on what you know about the team today can you predict a win total?

I see Texas winning 93 or 94 games this year. Last year I expected about 92 with the roster the way it was composed and one one off. Texas was on pace for a great deal last year to easily beat their franchise record though. Just not enough offense. They added offense today, so I think it should add 2-3 wins and bring them in that 93 or 94 win range.

Remember back when Frankie and CJ were dueling it out to see who could be the closer? Man ... those were the good old days!
Yes and I hope to see it again when we have two great candidates.

I hope he did not say that because that is a spot that is open and whoever earns it in ST should be the closer.
He may have said that going into ST but not necessarily at the end of ST. Would like to see one of them earn it via competition.

Maybe they just want Scheppers so pissed he takes the spot over both of them.

Ha that would be funny if that was their real plan. Frankly I want all three of them to do so well that Wash can't mess up with any of them.

I know Soria has experience as a closer, but right now I trust Scheppers to get 3 outs more than I do Feliz or Soria. Soria needs to get his command back or he's not very useful.

It's sad we have such a shitty game manager that we just have to hope the players are always good enough to bail his ass out.

I thought Wash said that Feliz was the closer and the spot was his to lose?

That better not be the case. We need at least three pitchers battling it out in spring training.

Did not hear Wash say Feliz was the closer but it would have been stupid to do so.

Part of me hopes that when one day manager evaluations are perfected, we find out that Kirk Gibson and his insane demands for the grittiest of players was the correct way to do it.

I hope not, Feliz still needs to prove he's back, Soria too for that matter

I hope not either but RW has been known to make idiotic statements like this in the past and come back to kick him in the butt.

Did I just dream this? I swear that within the last week it came out that Feliz was the closer and it was his job to lose.
