I know it's really early, but based on what you know about the team today can you predict a win total?

I see Texas winning 93 or 94 games this year. Last year I expected about 92 with the roster the way it was composed and one one off. Texas was on pace for a great deal last year to easily beat their franchise record though. Just not enough offense. They added offense today, so I think it should add 2-3 wins and bring them in that 93 or 94 win range.

This is why I asked.

you can always count on me to route against any Florida team because I just don't care about them, and since you're a Baylor fan this is a no-brainer....good game so far

okay back to baseball,
pardon the interruption

I know Soria has experience as a closer, but right now I trust Scheppers to get 3 outs more than I do Feliz or Soria. Soria needs to get his command back or he's not very useful.

At this point, I do too. My hope is that all three stay healthy this year. If they do, just about any game where our starter pitches 6 with a lead will be a win, no matter the order

Sorry about the Bears sir.

I'm shocked and disappointed - not nearly as much as you - with the outcome.

But hey, realistically, your Bears had a fine season and after a little time passes, you'll reflect back on the high lights, which were many.

I wonder if the Rangers had any interest in signing Mark Mulder? We seemed to have enjoyed picking up guys from the injury list and giving them a second chance.

I'm not belly aching about us not getting him, just that JD seems to have always had an interest in this type of guy, and he didn't cost the Angels much ($6 mil if he reaches all of his incentives).
