Oh, okay. The post above mine just answered my question while posting. What is Cruz's price gonna be?

maybe the talk about cruz wanting to play the field full time is overblown? We've never heard it from his or his agent's mouth, we've just heard rumors

One report indicated he was looking for four years at 75 mil. Way too much.

Cruz has mentioned several times during his time with Texas how much he enjoys playing defense.

I've always thought Cruz's only real asset in the field was his arm. Sometimes when chasing balls, he looks a little uncomfortable. I would think DH would might be good for him, but he wont get 75m for being DH though will he?

FWIW he has played 7 games at DH each of the last couple of seasons. I'm sure it was just rest days, but still

he never played defense. It was like having a blind guy out there. I guess maybe he enjoyed trying

I'll miss him too if he doesn't sign, but sometimes knowing when to let a guy go is key. We've seen this with Hamilton, Wilson and young.

What does that have to do with anything?

Our probably own real threat concerning Cruz is Baltimore. Seattle might try again. He has a comfort level here. We'll see.

I could see Seattle really over paying for him. Especially if they made promises to Cano.
