Without a doubt. More experience for one thing i.e. Profar/Martin. Power at 1st. And actually I prefer Soto an upgrade at catcher. And obviously better in LF. Yes I believe we are.

Think we're going to like that second catcher, JP Arencibia.

I'm on the fence with the 4th OFer. I want Choice to get as many ABs as possible, which is obviously in the minors. What about when there's a lefty on the mound and Choo struggles against them? You would want that righty option.

Choo's not sitting b/c he still gets on base against LHPs, he's still going to leadoff everyday unless he's hurt or needs a day off

Yeah but we also have Martin that is very streaky, and would be nice to have a righty fill in for him. Beltre isn't going to help a trade really, so I guess you might as well keep him.

Absolutely. His job is to get on base and does that no matter what side the pitcher is throwing from.

If jd did indeed acquire choice to be our future outfielder then he needs to be playing every day.

Exactly, I don't want to see Choice stuck in the role Profar had last year

Choice should be in AAA and called up in the even of an injury, but otherwise he should be looking to replace Rios in 2015

Our 1-4 is fantastic, and I believe the rest of our lineup will do well also. Don't underestimate what having Martin batting in front of choo can do as well.

I'd say that's a solid protection, if not maybe a tad conservative.
