Day off today. I am not in favor of a dark Sunday. Especially when the finals are played on Sunday. makes no sense unless they finish on Saturday.

Yeah I hate no tennis on a sunday in a major.

At least they makeup for it by having all round of 16 matches on one day which I do love.

Despite the fact that people pretend like Serena is unbeatable, Lisicki is a great grass courter who I figured would give her some problems. If she manages to win that match, she's probably the favorite out of all the remaining players. Kvitova might have a case, but she isn't playing well this week. Li Na would be the best overall player, but she's never been past the quarters.

And as I type, Serena gets the break to take the lead in the 2nd.

Haas up a break in the 2nd over Djokovic after getting smoked in the first.

In the finals I think it will be Kvitova vs Radwanska

I agree with the Semi's but I think Fatoli beats Kfatova in the battle of the bulge.

Also, Radwanska might get her first major if she can withstand Lisicki, I hope so.

Tough break for Li Na. She had five set points on her serve, but couldn't win them and wound up losing the first set in a breaker. One of those points was actually an ace that she didn't challenge. We'll see if she can come back indoors, as it is raining.

On the other court, Lisicki cruised to a win before the rains came. She's looking more and more like the favorite.

Still hoping for and expecting a Murray / Djoker final in the Mens. JMDP should make it to the semis along with Janowicz. Both have a real chance to pull off an upset though, especially the former.

In the womens, Fatty will play Flipper and pulling for Flipper. The winner gets the winner of the Aggie / Lisicki match. Like to see Aggie finally win one, but Lisicki is fun to watch too. I like her attitude and demeanor.

Based on play up to now, Liscki seems to be in the best shape.

Yes. Murray is one of the few guys so perfectly defensive that cannon won't be as useful. It should be one helluva chess match.
