i will say it one more time for your benefit. i don't just use the win-loss record when evaluating a pitcher's quality. i look at everything innings pitched, WHIP, hits, runs allowed, FB/GB ratio, etc and yes i mention their record. you seem to be obsessed with that one fact and ignore the others. i commented on the similarities between Price's numbers & Shields' numbers but also noted that Price was by far the superior pitcher if the Rangers were looking at the two. back before the trade deadline, when the discussion came to Lee, i did mention his record along with a lot of other things including the fact that his contract was prohibitive based on his numbers.
that's the end of the conversation on this subject in my book.
Again, I'm not talking about price. The fact that you brought lee's record up at all as reasoning why you didnt want him shows you don't know what you're talking about.
