Shawn Zobel:

Word on the street is that Arkansas QB Tyler Wilson is drawing rave reviews in his early pre-draft workouts. "His football IQ is amazing."

According to the source I spoke with, Tyler Wilson "would probably be starting" for a team like the Cardinals or Jets right now.

Source I spoke with thinks Tyler Wilson will have great workouts and a Ryan Tannehill-esque rise this offseason and go in the first round.

There's no doubt that Wilson is a franchise type QB prospect, but Shawn Zobel is a fucking idiot. Is he trying to be the first to say that Wilson will be a first round pick? Moron.

Barkley, Smith, Wilson, Glennon are legitimate NFL QBs in my eyes. This class will suprise the majority of folks. The only prospects I truly hated was Logan Thomas, Landry Jones, and EJ Manuel. One of which is not even entering the draft. So I am happy with this class as a whole. This class will suprise many, these same lame people will come back and proclaim that they knew that and had always anticipated that they were going to be "stars". I remember watching many sports channels in '11 and witnessing those hypocrites raving about Cam Newton, and bad mouthing Blaine Gabbert. People like that are the worse...!

Woohoo! Looks like Damontre Moore is set on declaring for the draft.

(I'm still holding out the slightest hope we can land him)

Do you really think Moore is a rare enough pass-rusher that he'd be worth a big trade up? He clearly looks like a 10-sack caliber guy like a Brian Orakpo to me. Give or take a little. I haven't decided if he might be better than that. I'll have to wait for the combine.

I'd be hesitant to trade up for a guy unless he's a franchise-changing kind of player. I know that's kind of hard to define... I definitely wanted the Irish Chocolate, but he's going back to college. Hankins might be that kind of guy. And if the Niners can trade up for Moore, it wouldn't be unrealistic that they could trade up for Tyler Wilson.

At this point, I think the best value in this draft is in the late 2nd to early 4th round.

Good. I didn't want the Niners to spend a 1st rounder on a WR again anyway (like I didn't want 'em to last year), and he might be there in the 2nd.
