don't see a team wanting 31 so bad, they're going to give up a 1st in 2014, and a 2nd rounder tomorrow? the 2nd rounder seems high.

To be honest, I don't really know what a 1st in 2014 is worth. This is guess work. I forget what the Colts gave up when they traded their future 1st to the Niners.

I guess it would depend on who's trading because a good team would be more inclined to trade than a bad team because the 2014 pick would probably be higher.

Sharrif Floyd - DL - Player

NFL Draft insider Tony Pauline reports the Raiders are now "unlikely" to draft Florida DT Sharrif Floyd, even if they stay put at No. 3.

One source close to the situation insisted "the mock draft community is overrating Sharrif Floyd." Pauline believes Floyd could now slip to the Titans at No. 10. We've had a sneaking suspicion all along Floyd might last on the board later than people expect. While he has great ability, Floyd's college production was below average and he is a one-scheme player limited to 4-3 defenses.

Barkevious Mingo - DL - Player

Appearing on NFL Network's Draft Kickoff show, Ian Rapoport reported the Falcons are interested in LSU DE/OLB Barkevious Mingo and Notre Dame TE Tyler Eifert if they can trade up.

Mingo is expected to be a top-ten pick, so it would likely take a monumental package to get there from the No. 30 pick the Falcons currently hold. Atlanta badly needs pass rush help, but Florida State's Bjoern Werner and Tank Carradine seem like more realistic options. Eifert is tentatively expected to be picked in the 12-18 range. He could be the heir apparent to Tony Gonzalez.

Please no. I do not want him in our division:

Tavon Austin - WR - Player

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Rams could trade up from No. 16 to No. 13 if the Jets pass on West Virginia WR Tavon Austin at No. 9.

Such a move would get the Rams their man, while keeping the Jets in position to snag an impact player. The Rams would likely have to surrender the No. 46 pick in such a scenario, which would be a steep price to move up just three spots. It would be an impetus to auction off the No. 22 pick to the highest bidder.

Report: Eric Fisher will indeed be No. 1 pick

A source with knowledge of the team's plans tells Profootballtalk the Chiefs will select Central Michigan LT Eric Fisher with the No. 1 pick.

This report mercifully avoids the semantics of who's been "informed" of what. There will undoubtedly be more conflicting reports between now and when Commissioner Roger Goodell steps to the podium to announce Kansas City's pick, but the evidence that Fisher will go ahead of Texas A&M's Luke Joeckel has become overwhelming.
