Scout.com Final Mock (Jamie Newberg):
What I like about this mock is the fact that he admits that no way on earth would the niners stay put at pick #31. So in essense, he is admitting that the person he is projecting for us to select is not going to be the actual pick.

Scout.com: Final Mock Draft

As a Packers and draft fan I hate it. Not only does he have Zach Ertz in the first :laugh3: he doesn't have Cyprien in there. So Packers are passing on Cyprien :laugh3:

Bjoern Werner - DE - Seminoles

Yahoo! Sports' Jason Cole hears the Falcons would possibly like to trade up, most likely for a pass rusher.

Cole throws out FSU defensive end Bjoern Werner's name in the 20-23 range. We think there's also a chance the club trades up for a corner, like Dee Milliner or Xavier Rhodes, or an interior pass rusher like Sheldon Richardson. The Falcons and 49ers appear to be the two teams poised to potentially make a big move.

Tavon Austin - WR - Mountaineers

Speaking on the latest draft buzz, NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah notes the Jets love WVU WR Tavon Austin.

The Jets have two picks in the top 13 to target Austin, which is likely the range the dynamic slot receiver is selected. The human joystick would be a great addition to any offense, and the Jets are no exception. We just hope he would be used correctly.

Barkevious Mingo - DL - Tigers

NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah tweeted that the Browns love LSU pass rusher Barkevious Mingo.

This makes sense, and there seems to be a strong possibility that Mingo is selected before Dion Jordan if Fisher and Joeckel are chosen with the first two picks. We think the Browns move up to select the pass rushing outside linebacker from LSU and use him as a situational pass rusher during his rookie season.

Eric Reid - S - Tigers

Some teams have red flagged LSU S Eric Reid due to "bad shoulders," according to Packers beat writer Bob McGinn.

McGinn went on to mock Reid to the Bengals. The link makes sense, because the Bengals have a need at the position and tend to drift towards prospects from bigger schools. They recently held a workout with FIU safety Johnathan Cyprien, however.

I'm cheering for him and I believe he will have success in the league, but I don't think Buffalo would be the ideal fit for him IMO:

Matt Barkley - QB - Trojans

SI.com's Peter King reports the Bills are seriously targeting USC QB Matt Barkley.

New Bills head coach Doug Marrone has said in the past he likes Barkley, but we find it a bit odd this news breaks now. Whether it's a smokescreen or not is uncertain but one thing's certain: the Bills need a quarterback and Barkley has the intangibles that teams look for.

Cornellius Carradine - DL - Seminoles

The Indianapolis Colts have done a lot of work on Florida State DE Tank Carradine, according to CBS' Jason La Canfora.

Carradine has been sky-rocketing up draft boards following an impressive workout. It was his first following a knee injury, and he impressed with 4.75 40-yard dash. Multiple teams are said to be interested, including the Giants, Vikings and Falcons.

That'll be a very good fit for him IMO:

Matt Barkley - QB - Trojans

The Jacksonville Jaguars are high on USC QB Matt Barkley, according to Jason La Canfora.

There have been rumors that the team could be looking to draft an offensive tackle, but one thing that we can't seem to shake is the team doesn't have a quarterback they can trust. Perhaps Barkley would be one that they can sit and develop while Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne spend a part of the season playing.

Jonathan Cooper - G - Tar Heels

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak is "very high" on North Carolina G Jonathan Cooper, according to CBS' Jason La Canfora.

"Titans coach Mike Munchak, himself a former elite offensive lineman, is very high on Cooper, sources said, and he could end up being the first guard selected as well," La Canfora writes. We've previously documented that the team has liked Cooper as well as Alabama's D.J. Fluker and Chance Warmack. It appears the team is bound to leave the first-round with an offensive lineman.

D.J. Fluker - T - Crimson Tide

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora writes that the Arizona Cardinals are "extremely high" on Alabama OT D.J. Fluker.

This is not a shock but there are questions whether Fluker is worthy of that high of a selection and if he can play tackle at a high-level in the NFL. He lacks great foot quickness and may be best suited at guard. La Canfora also notes that the team will consider Oklahoma's Lane Johnson as well.

Tavon Austin - WR - Mountaineers

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora writes that he doesn't know "anyone" who thinks West Virginia WR Tavon Austin will be available at No. 16.

The No. 16 selection is the St. Louis Rams', who need weapons to surround quarterback Sam Bradford with. La Canfora adds that the Jets are high on Austin and could select him No. 9 overall.

Ryan Nassib - QB - Orange

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora writes that Syracuse QB Ryan Nassib is "definitely" in play for the Buffalo Bills at No. 8.

This is expected simply because the Bills hired Nassib's college coaches to run the show. Head coach Doug Marrone has great familiarity with Nassib for that reason and could very well select him at the pick. The Bills clearly need a quarterback of the future and Nassib could be it.

That's how I've felt from the onset:

Kenny Vaccaro - DB - Longhorns

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport writes that multiple scouts have told him Texas S Kenny Vaccaro is their only first-round graded safety.

This is not entirely surprising but it is not something we entirely agree with, either. While Vaccaro has a lot of upside and fits in the ever-evolving NFL, we believe Florida International safety Jonathan Cyprien is also worthy of a first-round selection.

That would be a nightmarish situation for the rest of the NFC teams. What an offense with Jackson as their RB as well. This would be sickenning:

Tyler Eifert - TE - Fighting Irish

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport writes that NFL executives believe Notre Dame TE Tyler Eifert is a potential trade-up target for the Atlanta Falcons.

The Falcons have been rumored as potential movers in this year's draft, specifically moving up to select a highly-rated player. They will have a need at tight end following the upcoming season, as Tony Gonzalez is likely retiring. Eifert hasn't had any visits with the team or any other.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Rams' No. 22 overall pick is "clearly for sale."

Ezekiel Ansah - DL - Player

BYU DE Ziggy Ansah said he hasn't had any contact with the Lions since the Senior Bowl.

The Lions' staff coached Ansah at the Jan. 26 Senior Bowl. Operating out of their Wide 9 scheme, he was arguably the best player on the field with seven tackles, 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble. It's possible the Lions are just trying to cover their tracks here and pray that he Ansah falls to them at No. 5. Or maybe he did something at the game to turn them off.

Tavon Austin - WR - Player

West Virginia WR Tavon Austin said the Jets told him they "had a plan" for him.

As the premier skill position player available, Austin has probably been told that by a dozen teams over the last few weeks. But with two picks in the top-13 and a dire need for big-play ability on offense, this one makes sense. "I met everybody, and they pretty much said they like me a lot, and hopefully we can make it happen," Austin said. The Jets ranked 30th in passing yards per game and 28th in points last season.
