Whatever happened to WV's greats in Noel Devine, Steve Slaton, and Pat White? Another reason I don't believe Austin has a high ceiling

WOW! Georgia freshman Keith Marshall just ripped off an 80 yard TD run! He just BLEW by the Vol' defense. Wasn't even touched.

I just cannot get a good gauge on Aaron Murray. Sometimes he looks terrible, sometimes he looks really good. I could see some team stealing him with a non-first round pick & laughing all the way to the bank, but I could also see him being a to total waste of a pick.

At this point, I'd move him to C if the Niners drafted him. He'd just be too talented not to start, and I never liked Goodwin. And Boone is probably too tall to play C. Chance is 6'3.

There'd be a big learning curve, but he'd eventually be a great C IMO.

Move way up o draft Warmack and try to convert him? At that point I would think it'd be better to just draft Barrett Jones if we're moving up for a center, imo.

Yes, that would be a much better decision. So would drafting the guy out of USC in the 2nd, but Jones would be a great C IMO.

If the Niners did draft Warmack, I'd play him at C because Goodwin is the weakest link.

Very true. It was one of the games where both defenses just decided to stay home.

HOWEVER, the guy is playing unconscious right now - and the Heisman is his to lose at this point. I'd also be surprised if he's not the top pick in the draft. Brandon Weeden and Blaine Gabbert should be scared. If Cleveland or Jacksonville get the #1 overall pick, they're gone.

i wouldn't be surprised if both are gone anyways. i think the browns and jags will be 1-2 in the draft and both will take qb's.

I absolutely love Austin. Dexter McCluster is an apt comparison, but he's better IMO.

A few observations:

Bray really needs to work on his accuracy.

John Jenkins is the real deal. He & Hankins would make good NFL NTs IMO. Geathers might be a good one too.

Jarvis Jones is having a really quiet season. Could that and his old neck injury makes teams pass on him? If he somehow slipped to the mid first, I'd trade up for him in a second.

Aaron Murray is the Jekyll & Hyde QB.

I've always liked C James Stone for the Vol's. Will he declare? He might even be my favourite C prospect in NCAA (maybe) except if you consider Barrett Jones a C prospect.

Corelius Washington is having a really quiet game too. The Niners have done really well with high potential, raw prospects lately (except Mays). Maybe he could be a later round project for 'em? Could he be a situational TE like Dobbs?
