Change that to Tank, Hunter, or Hopkins.

Right now there very likely will be a 2nd round with Allen, Moore, And Hunter. A thought that would have been laughed at earlier this season.

I heard Teo was invited too, but he declined. Good move on his part.

Interesting to note that Jarvis Jones was not invited.

I really think there's a good chance he drops to the 2nd round.

My guess is Rhodes.

Side note: 4 players from Florida State are going? Is that the most from one school in the same draft?

No. I think the record is 6. I know Miami had 5 players go in round 1 in 2002 (unfortunately, one of those guys was Mike Rumph). :(

Edit: The 'canes had 6 go in 2004.

Hunter looked like a mid 2nd round pick to me from the onset. I was in the minority with that assessment for a long time, and it seems as though I am still the only person who feels this way till this day (at least from posters from this board - based on what I am reading). As recently as today I read that people would be ecstatic to draft him at pick #31, man that would make me nauseous.

Well, at least we can all agree on my guy the Tank...

What do you guys think of Jamie Collins? He was getting top 25 hype for a while; even saw him mocked to the Saints at 15 at one point (which I thought was ridiculous). His stock has cooled down a lot & now looks like a 45-60 range guy. How would you feel if the Niners got him in the 2nd?

Especially after watching Patterson and then Hunter, I sort of paint Hunter into an upgraded of AJ Jenkins type player. He probably ends up being a steady pro, but I could easily see plenty of mid round WR's outperform him. I'm staying on the Hopkins bandwagon if we're going with any WR with those top two picks over defense. He just brings something that we've been missing.

Wow! Look at Corey Lemonier's friggn' arms! Those are like torsos sticking out of his sides. If I were the Niners & they drafted him, I'd tell him to ease up on the arm workouts. He's probably a lot more stiff than he could be in his upper body. He's listed at 255, but I'd probably want him to drop a bit. He'd gain it back naturally over time since he's only 20, but for starters I'd want him to cut maybe 5-10 pounds.

He has a crazy physique. Anyone can tell by watching his games at Auburn.

@RapSheet 46s

According to @BuckyBrooks, who is in Tuscaloosa for Eddie Lacy's workout… The #Bama back ran 4.57 & 4.60 in the 40.

He's faster than I thought. But then again he had much longer time to train for the forty than the other players who participated in the combine a month ago.

Eddie Lacy - RB - Crimson Tide

Alabama RB Eddie Lacy struggled with stamina during his only pro day workout, according to NFL Network's Bucky Brooks.

"Lacy flashed outstanding talent as a rubber and receiver, but lack of stamina is definitely a concern," Brooks tweeted. "Struggled the entire workout with wind. The lack of conditioning exhibited today will lead some coaches and scouts to question his work ethic. Concerns must be addressed in (meetings)." Lacy posted unofficial forty times of 4.57 and 4.60, as well as recording a 32.5 inch vertical and 9-7 broad jump and clocked a 4.44 short shuttle. The hefty running back has been dealing with a partially torn hamstring throughout the process.

Sam Montgomery - DL - Tigers

The Sideline View's Lance Zierlein has been told to not expect LSU DE Sam Montgomery to be selected in the top three rounds.

This isn't surprising, and our own Josh Norris ranked Montgomery as prospect No. 100 last month. He is a big name coming from LSU, but Montgomery's reactions off the snap are very slow and he was rarely effective. We actually prefer teammate LaVar Edwards.

That is faster than you thought? Man you must have had low expectations.

Partially torn hamstring...

he still was dieting well, and participating in other types of conditioning/training that wouldn't put more stress on that bad hammy. There are ways to still get an edge without actually running. I refuse to believe that he had no sort of training (running the forty in particular) prior to this pro day workout. He had to find a way to get ready / experiencing running the forty - that wasn't his first time ever running the forty prior to this proday workout. I hate to allow him or anyone to use that as an excuse. If that's the case then one can argue that if it weren't for a bad hammy and had more time to prepare for it, instead of a 4.5 forty he could have ran a 4.4 or even a 4.3 forty? I don't know I'm just saying.
