I'd be quite happy with this draft!

I really don't like Hunt that early. Other than that, this looks pretty darn good.

Agreed. Except, I thought I read somewhere Walter Stewart had a major medical condition that was career threatening.

I'd be quite happy with this draft!

I'd be absolutely thrilled if the draft when like this, although I know some posters on this board would hate the Hunt pick. Also, Hayden and Lattimore will probably not be on the board where they are. But I'd be very happy with this draft.

After looking at the mock, there is no way I'd take Hunt over Eddie Lacy or Hankins. There is also no way that Lacy falls to 46.

like it too because the first four picks are for D. personally think it'll be first three of four (a WR), but first four definitely works.

general draft question really.......what if we drafted Hunt at 61 and Williams at 34? would this then be ok for you?

I don't see why. Are people impressed because of his pro' day workout? Pro' day is BS.

I'm not a fan. Not even in the 3rd. I'd much rather have Darius Slay.

By the way, it's not exactly encouraging that he tore a friggn' vein in his heart at practice & almost died.

Zach Ertz - TE - Cardinal

Draft Insider Tony Pauline reports that some believe Stanford TE Zach Ertz is the No. 1 tight end on the Philadelphia Eagles' draft board.

This is somewhat of a surprise simply because there are more talented tight ends in the draft than Ertz by our estimation. However, he may have some potential as an inline tight end for the Eagles, which they are likely to be looking at more of. Worst comes to worst, Ertz could line up in the slot and be used as a blocker in Chip Kelly's option offense.

Matt Barkley - QB - Trojans

USC QB Matt Barkley will have a private workout with the Cardinals on Saturday.

Head coach Bruce Arians and general manager Steve Keim are set to attend. Around the time of the Combine, Barkley's name was connected to the Cardinals at pick No. 7. Now that seems highly doubtful, as the Cardinals have added multiple veterans at the position. We don't love the fit in terms of styles, either.

Johnathan Franklin - RB - Bruins

Draft Insider Tony Pauline reports UCLA RB Johnathan Franklin visited the St. Louis Rams on April 3 and will meet with the Pittsburgh Steelers on April 4.

Both teams are in need of a running back and love running the football, so Franklin is most certainly an option. He's an explosive player that runs hard and has improved over the course of the last couple of seasons, particularly his vision and ball security. He is reportedly rising up draft boards, per Pauline.

Matt Scott - QB - Wildcats

Draft Insider's Tony Pauline reports Arizona QB Matt Scott will work out for the Seattle Seahawks.

Pauline added that Scott put on weight since the combine, where he weighed in at 213 pounds. Scott is now 221. Despite his added weight, Scott needs a lot of work on his overall game. He is very raw, as witnessed in his footwork, but has the athleticism and arm strength to 'wow' evaluators.

Ezekiel Ansah - DL - Cougars

Draft Insider Tony Pauline reports BYU DL Ezekiel Ansah will visit with the Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals.

Ansah is a very intriguing option for all three teams, especially the first two considering their move to a 3-4 defense. Ansah may be best in space, where he has additional space to work with and is given time to ponder his next move. He is very raw but is strong and relentless. He also has great upside.

Gavin Escobar - TE - Aztecs

Draft Insider Tony Pauline reports San Diego State TE Gavin Escobar will visit with the Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns and Carolina Panthers.

Escobar was once called an "F-type" tight end by former Kansas City Chiefs G.M. Scott Pioli, which implies that Escobar is a "move" tight end. Escobar does a good job of catching the football but there are concerns over his ability to consistently separate from defensive backs and linebackers at the next level.

Dion Jordan - LB - Ducks

NJ.com's Eliot Shorr-Parks reports Oregon LB Dion Jordan will work out for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The workout will take place on April 4. Jordan is a great fit for the Eagles' new coaching staff and scheme. He has obvious familiarity with Head Coach Chip Kelly, who was previously at Oregon with Jordan. Jordan would be a strong-side linebacker in the Eagles' new defense and is a viable option with their first-round selection.

Dee Milliner - DB - Crimson Tide

Alabama CB Dee Milliner is scheduled to visit 10 of the top 13 teams that make up the early part of the first-round.

Milliner visited the Jaguars on Wednesday, along with the Dolphins and Bucs. We expect Milliner to be selected within the top 13 picks, with the Lions, Browns, and Dolphins being the likeliest suitors. By all accounts, Milliner is considered the top corner in this class.
