Completely disagree.Right.
But as @trojanfan12 pointed out, Shaq would have more difficulty guarding Davis.
It is a lot easier to help in the post.

Ofc. I just think in the battle of the duos, who gets tge rebounds and punishes inside? It would be a fun convo for sure, however i dont think two guys putting up shots from the outside is better than the combo of inside and outside threats. Obviously just my opinion.
I never said that. Dont assume that i am assuming something.Don’t assume that posting up is the only way to get points in the paint.
Double team shaq....and leave kobe wide open. Lol.Well, that is pretty much fact.
The block is the easiest place on the floor to double team.
I said one team would dominate the inside. Are you drunk? You seem to be all piss and vinegar over me and trojan just having a fun hypothetical debate. You said 1 team would be shooting from the outside while the other went inside.
Don’t know how I could get anything else from that.
Post 495 clearly pointed out we were talking about a hypothetical battle of the duos. This post is the exact as 498, which i again stated in post 499 that we are talking hypotheticals. You are getting your panties in a bunch over nothing. Chill the fvck out,lol.Dude.
Not a 2 on 2 game.
WTF?
Completely disagree.

Solid points.AD isn't stopping Shaq in the paint. Prime Shaq had 30-40 lbs. on AD. But, that same size advantage hurts Shaq when he tries to guard AD outside the paint.
Additionally, @tlance is right, it's easier to help in the paint because there's less room to operate.
When Vlade was with the Kings, he used to give Shaq some trouble because Shaq couldn't just beat him up in the paint all game long and AD is a better player than Vlade.
Ultimately, I think Shaq would get the better of AD because Prime Shaq was a monster and would wear AD down physically. But AD would get his fair share and make Shaq work his ass off.
Not in hypothetical duo vs duo, which again is HYPOTHETICAL, and has been clearly pointed out to you twice already.I am chill.
Duos play within the context of 5 v 5.
That is how basketball has always worked.
Ok, it doesnt really matter to me. I just want to have fun and talk sports, so ill concede to you if that makes you happy. You might be talking about 2 on 2. Nobody else is.

You too. And possible missinterpretations of each others subject matter, lol.Dude.
It isn’t about that.
Just talking about different things clearly.
Have a nice day.

Lets restart, what combo do you think better works in the confines of a basketball game? I am kinda torn on this and i guess it really depends on the era and the team composition. So, with that in mind, it really becomes who is the most adaptable to different game styles. Imo, it would go, kobe, lebron, ad, then dead last shaq. What are your thoughts on this?
