Good question.

If all are assumed to be prime, LeBron is the best overall player. AD is awesome, but obviously not Shaq and Kobe level. So talent is close, IMO.

Today’s game? Give me AD and Bron. 15 years ago or before when post play dominated? I take Shaq and Kobe.

And I agree with you on adaptability. I think Shaq is really the only player who isn’t. The other 3 could play and be great in any era.

Not that Shaq couldn’t play today, just would have some flaws that would get exposed.
Yeah, shaq was a god at what he did, but what he did was the only thing he could do. As far as AD, as great as he is, just look at his skill set and physical attributes. He should be taking the reigns from an aging lebron at this point.

I think he is in some ways, but LeBron will always be the vocal leader.

KCP's MRI revealed no structural damage. He just has a quad bruise. They'll re-evaluate him before the next game to see if he's fit to play

Just based on what they've said in interviews and what some of the Lakers "insiders" have said...Lebron is basically mentoring AD on being a leader.

The way he took responsibility for his game 1 performance and some of the other things he's said make it seem like he's learning.

Hopefully, Lebron will teach him how to take care of his body so that maybe he can have fewer injuries.

I have to amend what i said about AD because what some of you are saying is actually spot on. How AD called himself out for his game 1 performance showed a step in the right direction.

Suns up 4 at the half. The next 24 minutes will determine their season

Anthony Davis and Chris Paul are the least reliable playoff stars in history.

They are always freaking injured.

This series is about which team has the injured player LOSES. It robs us of seeing them play at full strength.

I cannot remember any career playoff arcs that are as HIGH/LOW as those two......because of injuries.
