For any actual real humans who might be reading, Spieth hasn't recovered yet, he needs something to jolt him before this defines who he is as a competitor to himself.

I think your viewed of successful is flawed. Spieth is 7th in cup points, while playing in the 2nd fewest events out of anyone in the top 50.

He has made the cut 88% of the time and half of those are top 10 finishes.

Plus he is 7th overall in earnings. Seems pretty successful to me.

My view is based on HIS past and where he was projected to be by now just 2 years ago.
If he doesn't want it, it's his life, but he has without doubt lost the edge that made him one of the 3 or 4 greatest amateurs ever and had him off to an all time great start as a pro.
I get your point, he's not a loser by any stretch, but IF he wants to be great, he has mental work to do.
