I think you were watching a different game than me.

Washington got stopped for FG shots how many times???? The fact they missed 2 means nothing.

Dallas' offense just moves down the field.

Washington is zero for two if you are keeping score......

Dallas won. I'm not taking anything away from them for doing what they had too. But its hard to deny that Washington was allowed to move the ball almost at will. Dallas just did a great job of keeping them out of the endzone. Wash had 150 yards more offense than Dallas and they both had 8 or 9 drives each I think. The big difference is Dallas was 4 for 4 in the redzone and Washington was 2 for 5. And the missed FG's ended up being huge too. I'm just saying a team with a better redzone efficiency might have been able to beat Dallas yesterday because your defense sure wasn't stopping the Redskins between the 20's. Maybe not. Who knows? It's all speculation now.

Yes but the secondary better get well soon or a better red zone off than Wash. will eat there lunch and you know that.

Dallas didn't have more yds b/c they scored quickly when they had the ball otherwise Wash would have had much less.

Statisitcs are for losers.... the only stat that matters is Dallas won and looked good doing it. They have seemed unstoppable on offense, and not wild throws, panic mode stuff.

Solid, consistent, multi faceted. Lots of weapons. Long fields don't deter them. Low mistake quotient.

Who would that be? NE? And whoever it is had better score everytime they get a chance. Because Dallas just keeps rolling down the field.

Brown bit on the inside move by Jackson and got beat outside for the 67 yard touchdown, which accounted a big chunk of offense for Washington. The last drive for Washington as well, Dallas was playing the soft "prevent nothing" defense, which also racked up yardage for them. I thought Washington wasted lots of clock on that drive too, but Dallas was allowing them to make plays in the middle of the field and run clock vs. the boundary plays to stop the clock.

Missing key guys in the secondary hurts the D, but most of those guys will be back before the playoffs. The defense just has to make a couple stops per half and Dallas has a good shot at winning most games. The offense has moved the ball and scored almost at will and that will continue IMO.

I have no problem with this. Stats are stats, but you won. And the Cowboys do look really good. NO question about it. Washington just left a lot of opportunities out there that could have won them the game. I just thought the Dallas Defense makes them look beatable based on yesterday's game.

A team is probably going to have to either figure out how to stop the Dallas offense, or score 40 points, neither of which seems to be a lock for any other team at his point, but sure you can say they are beatable. Every team is, it just hasn't happened in the last 10 games. Im sure they will probably lose again along the way, but this has been an enjoyable 10 games for Dallas fans, after the brutal season last year.

Yesterday was the first game in while where I thought they looked beatable. Cousins had a monster game against them but still lost, so you are right someone will need to put 40 on the cowboys to beat them the way they are playing. Either that or the Cowboys run into a defense playing hot.

Minny and the Giants defense will be interesting matchups coming up and I think Seattle's D poses a big challenge and would be fun to watch.

Minny is nothing to worry about. Dallas wins that by at least 10 points.

Giants though have enough on both sides of ball to cause concern.

Mo and Church for starters

Once Dallas scored first I didn't worry one bit. They settle down and play...

I don't think Minny can score enough to beat Dallas but the interesting part of that one will be their pass rush vs. the Cowboys O-line and seeing how Dak plays against it

Around the 11 minute mark of the 3rd quarter, Prescott peals off on a run down the far sideline. He darts to the 10 yard marker, jumps as he goes out of bound but extends his right hand with the ball up field. Across the line of gain.

Where do the dipshit refs mark him? 1 yard short.....

Every time the "heady" Wee One does the exact same thing they give him the ball where he had his arm extended.

Cowboys won this but how concerned are you guys for the pass defense? It looks like Cousins was lighting you up.
Very concerned. Biggest problem is crunch time and being able to stop teams. They've been OK this year, but they have been poor when it matters most. Sooner or later they will face a team with just as good a passing offense (or even better) and a much better defense than Washington. They must get a better pass rush and some turnovers. If Mo and Church come back healthy they will automatically be better. Mo was playing like an All Pro and while not great in pass defense, Church keeps Heath from ever seeing the field. At the end of the game the Dallas safeties were Heath and a rookie who hasn't played at all. It's no secret that the Dallas D needs to play better, but the Offense is what wins them games. As long as they can run the ball and Dak plays like he has been they can beat anyone. You can score on the Dallas Defense, but you still need to outscore the Dallas Offense...

They were pretty even once the Redskins adjusted to the initial punch in the face.

I'm not ridiculously impressed with Dallas in terms of being an all time great type of team but they do some special things on offense. The oline is go good that it basically leaves everyone else one on one and that allows Dak to lock in on one WR so he never really sees anything too complex at all. Dak has a great oline and athletic talent to often make a pass rusher miss and an arm to get the ball to the guy he locks in on. Its very simple stuff but simple means that its easy to repeat and it makes their offense amazingly consistent.

I would wager to say that Seattle is probably their biggest competition in the NFC but there really just aren't any complete teams in the NFL right now and thats what it will take to beat Dallas.
Holy crap!!! "all time great"??? They won 4 games last year. I'm still hoping for the division win...Who has ever mentioned or thought all time great type of team:noidea:

And you are totally wrong on Dak. He goes through his progressions as well as any rookie I've seen and has seen a lot of pressure this year and a lot of blitzing and teams trying to confuse him. The Dallas OL and Elliott have been great, but Dak makes the clutch throws and plays that are winning them games.

Are you surprised? It's like clockwork. Doesn't matter how many games Dallas wins, the exact same comments from people (fan bases) will come up with a reason to try and knock them down. I just enjoy the wins as each one we stack gets us closer and closer to the playoffs:suds:

Cracks me up to see people knock Dak. The Cowboys had the same offensive line and receivers last year and went 1-11 without Romo. Yes, they have a better running back than McFadden, but that's the difference between 1-11 and 10-1? Come on. The kid is a rookie...he's going to get better, not worse.
