No More "Bullpen Failure" - maybe
Gallo grounds out the second time up.
Fair enough. I wonder how their stats last year would have been different if Gallo had stayed down and the other two had come up?

I believe it was on a 2-2 count so he is seeing some pitches. Maybe a lot of his early strikeouts were due to him deciding to force himself to look at some pitches. I don't know that might be nothing close to what was going on, but hopefully he is working on some things that might have had him taking some strikes.I'm good with this.

Tepesch goes 3 innings allowing one run on 4 hits and 1 walk. He strikes out 3.
It didn't say what pitches he used, but 2 of them were looking and 1 swinging.I like the three K's. Wonder what pitches they were on.
The Surprise, Surprise: Joey Gallo Goes Yard & More
"Joey Gallo (2-for-3, HR) hit an absolute bomb to right field in Maryvale. More important, maybe, he continues to work the count and demonstrate more patience and better discipline. In all three plate appearances today, he saw at least four pitches and saw at least a two-ball count."
Mazara and Brinson are talented and they may crack the roster in 2016 at some point but as Joey did and Odor did, they will all go through some rough patches. May even have to go back down to get it figured out like Roogie. Lets face it Mazara and Lewis haven't even been called up yet, heck they may struggle out of the gate at RR and that level for a little while. Not many Griffey Jr's or Arod's that just come up and it all clicks and there is no looking back
