Hamels Holland Perez Colby until Darvish returns, with the 5th being Chi Chi, NMart, or possibly even NTepesch?

Yes, with Ranaudo in the mix too.

I just found it odd that Klein is starting today.

Yeah I forget about Ranuado. I think they may be trying to keep Klein stretched out as a starter for RR or something? I think I remember them transitioning him to a starter last year in the middle of the year, cause he really wasn't having much success as a reliever. Something like that, its kinda foggy to me

Pretty crappy game from the As. Like the way this offense is looking.

I tuned in late (4th inning) and their pitchers that inning were horrible, especially getting the ball over the plate.
And when they did, we seem to hit it pretty hard.

Yes sir. They probably threw 3 times as many balls as strikes in the bottom of the 4th... 2 really bad errors too.

From your post, are you thinking Colby will not start once Darvish is ready? Or he'll be moved to the 5 spot when he does?

That first lefty threw around 30 pitches and only got one out before they mercifully took him out.

And you like said, they had two bad errors to top it off too.

Once Darvish is ready we're really going to need a long man for the pen. So whomever is in the 5 spot may have a good opportunity to move to the pen.

Of course some of that will be determined on how the pen is structured from the get go I guess.

Gotta like that depth at SP... really across the board. Only thing I am not certain about the BP. And that just has more to do with me just not really knowing who our guys are this season. How do you guys think we are looking there?

Honestly, I feel better about the pen than I do about our starters. We've got one of the best pens going IMO.
