wasn't this what he initially turned down?
It's probably the structure he didn't like of the first one. It's a boat load of guaranteed money.

Brady was a true QB, a pocket passer, RW is a running QB. Just stop man u are looking bad right now. Please don't try and compare these 2. Now if you want to try and compare him to Mcnabb who was a running QB turned into a some what pocket passer Im ok with that.I asked you to look at Brady's passing yards and TD's, in his first 3 season. It is not that hard, you can do it purguy. I can help you if you need help.
Anyway, the point was that Brady increased his passing total dramatically. He had similar number to that of Wilson. That being said purguy, while it seems impossible to you, those that watch RW every game, EVERY play, know how valuable RW is.
OMG he is trying to compare Tom Brady to RW. This is getting ugly for seattle fans. Please other seattle fans stop this guy before he destroys your fan base.
no link watching ESPN on the East coast.
I 100% guarantee that they lose some of the guys you mention. Its impossible to keep all.
The fewer years was at Russ's request. It's probably the structure he didn't like of the first one. It's a boat load of guaranteed money.
i already explained it, but as per SportsHoopla standards, it was passed over because it made sense.Brady was a true QB, a pocket passer, RW is a running QB. yes I can see Wilson improve but making that much money he needs to be a lot better and be the main reason they win to justify the money he is making. Life is going to be different when they lose a lot of guys.
Not sure where ESPn is getting their information. Before this deal got done Seattle if the Cap is around $150 million next year have around $38 million in cap space before this deal got done. I doubt his cap hit is $38 million. This definitely makes things a lot tighter from next year on for the team but they have done pretty well managing the cap knowing this situation would happen.
I will say though that Bobby Wagner tweet was pretty telling of his thoughts on what this means for his future.
that's not what the other seattle fans think. Go read some of your fans responses. Its bad.Seriously? Seattle fans have only been talking about who stays and who goes for the last 2+ years. No shit you can't afford to keep a defense with Wagner, Thomas, Chancellor, and Sherman.
Hey Rock. Is Tom Brady considered a "top level passer"? Of course he is.
What did Brady's stats like like after 3 season? Are they similar to RW's?
next year they will have to cut some. they will be way over the cap. (im not 100% sure on this but ESPn was talking about this.) Some big names will get cut next year on this team.
Really? He's thinking about a hypothetical team that doesn't exist? And if they do in 5 years, LA will get some top 5 pick-garbage franchise moving there. Doubt he'll want to spend his 30s in a place like that.
clueless.......great stuff. keep going im laughing away my Friday at work.Tom Brady in his first 3 years of starting as QB. 10,249 yards 67 TDs 38 Ints
Russell Wilson in his first 3 years in the league, 9950 yards 72 TDs 26 Ints
Yeah, no comparison at all. Oh wait, you are comparing Tom Brady at the end of his career to Russell Wilson in his first three season. Because that makes sense to you?

Brady's first three year averages:
20-32 217 yards 1.5 TDs 0.8 INTs a game.
Wilson:
16-26 207 yards 1.5 TDs 0.5 INTs a game

Now now now CDumler, dont you go injecting logic and facts in a good troll fest!!!
Wagner will most likely get done..... i believe
Okung probably gone. Mebane, maybe cap casualty this year....
I don't have the time, but it would be interesting to see how many QB's have/had top 5 money at the time of their deal.ok he is above avg not avg but still isn't great. take that great D and that great running game and see what happens. We will find out in the next few years.
sorry for the avg talk. He is better then half in the league so I will say he is above avg. For that money he needs to be great Top 5 talk and he isn't. That's my point.
What are you doing man?!? That is a "comparison" and it's been pointed out that you aren't allowed to do that.
