Bill proves once again he is an elite coach. He doesn't call timeout at the end as time is running down and puts all pressure on the Seahawks to either call the correct play or call a timeout of their own. Instead, the Seahawks (Beavell and Carroll) choke and lose the game. Carroll should have called the timeout when he first heard the play call on his head set. You had a time out, you run the damn ball with Beastmode. Idiots!

Oh man, what a game. Was rooting for Seattle but it was tough, I hate some of those guys so badly. Baldwin "Shitting" the ball out was just a punk ass move in front of the entire world. What a tool.

I couldn't believe they threw it but damn their bigger mistake was burning the 2 TOs just to save the play clock. Once they got to 25 second with only 1 TO it only allowed for one Lynch run and who is to say he automatically scores from a full yard out? If he gets stopped they burn their last TO and are now probably forced to pass as they would get 2 cracks instead of just one with a run.

All the complaining about the bad call when the reality is sometimes a guy just makes a play and this guy just made a great great play.

seatle didnt show a lot of class at all . baldwin was a fool , sherman talking about reevus then losing and not saying anything irvin starting a fight

Seattle showing no class is not a shock to me.....Everything you said there, sounds par for the course....when they lose, they start fights.....and sherman not saying anything after looking like a fool.....sounds about right....

I so wish Brady would have tracked sherman down and asked " You mad bro"" see how sherman likes a taste of his own medacine!!! Would have LOVED....LOVED...LOVED that!!!!

Interesting take.
A lot of media guys like Kevin Sheehan(not a Sheehan fan) are slamming Bill for not taking time outs. Saying that only Carroll saved him with a bigger blunder. I know Bobby Knight liked to put the pressure on the other team, as he believed his team was more prepared in crunch time, so he would not take time outs often in those situations. They showed Bill next to the official, and I was expecting him to take a time out. It worked out for the Pats I will say.

WE did not invite it if trolling starts. Two or three people decided the rules do not apply to them.

I was kinda hoping Tom would give the old one handed crotch grab and ask Seattle if they wanted to check "THOSE" balls for deflation. Now that would have been priceless.

i thought it was really good. pats looked great in the first half, seahawks looked good the second half, pats over came a big lead by seattle, last second play to seal the win. i enjoyed the fight. that catch off the legs was ridiculous! everyone thought the seahawks were going to win after that. pretty exciting super bowl considering i wasnt really cheering for anyone.

WE did not invite it if trolling starts. Two or three people decided the rules do not apply to them.

one of our fan posters started a thread . they called out fans of another team . there isnt a rule about that and in fact if the smack talk is kept to this thread it should be allowed by rule as longs as they abide by rule one

now perhaps "we" wasnt the right word,but i dont have a word to cover it other then one of our fans did it and in any case when this thread plays out i will move it to the smack talk thread but i am going to allow it for awhile

i put that rule in there for just such occasions

(5) We have a Smack Talk Thread , USE IT . There you can troll , name call whine , piss , and moan to your hearts content without repercussions but if you carry it to another thread then all bets are in fact off

I guess to this point it hasn't caused trouble and it is also good to be king.

I know it seems I am making a big deal about a little thing but I also realize we let one little thing slide, then another and another and BOOM we have the 4 letter network again. Really I know that can be prevented I just wanted to point out their were rules put in place.

I really don't understand this one. Clearly the 2 best teams, a historic comeback and drama right up to the end with that INT going down as one of the greatest, and biggest, plays in SB history. Speaking of historic think about what was on the line with that final pass. Had the Hawks score they are now 2 time champs going for the threepeat. It goes the other way and now BB and Tom Brady are on the short list if not on top and NE has solidified their place as the greatest run in NFL history.
