I know how you feel, especially with the humidity. I lived in Florida for about 3 years and in my first summer I was certain that I was going to die.

I learned tricks like when I was going someplace I'd turn on the car's ac before I got ready to leave. Otherwise, you're soaked with sweat by the time the ac kicks in good.

:laugh3:

Tell me about it... I almost had a heatstroke during my sons tball tourney... Seriously... I thought I had it covered bring a cooler full of stuff... Problem was I was making sure he didn't over heat, so I kept soaking towels and bringing him water and Gatorade to the dugout and forgot to use it on me as well... Until I almost passed out...:L I couldn't move for about 2 hours... :laugh3: it was redicous...

my LAST trip to Biloxi gave me all the reminder i needed to remember why i hated the place so much...

lol, gotcha beat. did Biloxi, Mobile, Ft. Walton Beach, and you might as well throw Houston and New Orleans in there too. ANYWHERE along the Gulf Coast was a nightmare where humidity's concerned...

when was the last time the Lakers had a PG as good as Lin?

and should lakers fans laugh or cry at that statement?

Making friends, I see:lol:.

Come on....You know Lin is just a stopgap.

And the Hill deal makes a ton of sense if you look at it from the perspective of what the Cavs are trying to do to get Love.

Next summer, they can trade Hill to a team and that team can cut him immediately to get 9mil in salary cap relief.

But, as far as guards are concerned, Clarkson looks like he's gonna be a stud.

He, Hood and Cleanthony Early are the steals of the draft.

Mecca...just to put this in perspective

in order to try and have a feel-good statement about the Lakers you went to hyping their 2nd round pick.....

is that what it has come too? REALLY?

REALLY?:L

.......Yeah, that's pretty much all I got :noidea:

Randle, Henry if healthy should be fun to watch.

Dude, this team is going nowhere fast this year.

I see them playing the role of spoiler for teams fighting it out for the last 2 playoff spots in the West.

They will be light years better than last Season. But, should finish 9th or 10th in a loaded Western Conference.

40 wins sounds about right?

They are just treading water until the free agency period begins in the Summer.

I'm trying to think of one and I came up with Ron Harper or D-Fish in his prime.

As for the other, I'll take option 1.

that probably sounds about right if Kobe is healthy

If Kobe is not healthy then the bottom falls out really fast

-but if Kobe is healthy- and Randle gets a lot of PT- then there is at least a reason to watch...I really like Randle- no way in a normal draft that guy goes #7...the Lakers got a very good pick there

When was the last time the city of Cleveland won a professional championship?

And should Cavs fans laugh or kill themselves over that statement?

That's right Shaqdaddy. We already have a player/coach who can't play more than 5 minutes before his back starts spasms into oblivion.

I would take a declining D-Fish over Lin.

I love D-Fish, he was my favorite Laker when he was on the team, but he was never more than a serviceable point guard, even in his prime. However, he was a great locker room presence and had a knack for hitting big shots. Without those 2 traits, he would have been a below average starter or a solid backup PG.
