I was actually using YOUR "logic" of having more rings meaning the one player is better than another.

You need to ask your teachers to do a better job when you return to middle school in the fall.

It would have to be a sign and trade to the Clips, he can't sign as a FA there. They are already over the cap. Miami would want a package with Blake but Clips would try and make a package with D. Jordan.

You can clear cap room by dumping these high priced players to a team with cap room. As long as the team you are trading with has room to take the salary, you don't have to take any salary back in a trade. Once you have the cap room, you sign Lebron as a free agent.

From what I've read and heard, Pat Riley will not do a sign and trade to accommodate any player (Lebron, Wade, Bosh) that wants to leave. If he stays true to his work, then the only way Lebron could be a Clipper is what Sportsman was saying and have them dump players to teams with cap in unbalanced trades. So far there's been no real talk of that. But its unlikely we'll hear any actual trade rumors until Lebron actually states he'd like to play for the Clippers.

Other than one of the Morris twins, what suns player was built from the inside that was a rotation player this year? Damn near everyone else was acquired in FA or via trade

I wish the suns would have won a championship in the 2000's because they built their teams the right way. The taste of victory will be much sweeter if it comes from guys that you developed within your own organization. In regards to the heat, this was short term success. It was success none-the-less but by no means of any sustenance.

I know he was drafted by the Suns BUT he went to the Rockets when the Suns traded him. When you trade a player who you drafted and you re-acquire him by FA/Trade, it is no longer the same thing as drafting him and keeping him for the entire time.

You think if the Heat won the title this year, I would've considered Beasley a part of the home grown talent just because drafted him even though he played on 2 other teams before he came back to Miami?
