I have already stated that currently RW is playing at a higher level than Griff. That doesn't mean I think he is better than griff, but he is certainly playing better right now. I have all the respect in the world for RW.

Should have qualified this by saying, 'better than Griff down the road'. That has yet to be determined and is my opinion only.

My conversation with you has nothing to do with the OP. I specifically called you out for you stupid statement that Russell owes much of his success to his "stellar offensive line play."

I showed you a link from a reputable source that he was the most pressured QB in the NFL. Even using QB hits as a metric, Wilson is the 11th most hit QB on the team that passes the 31st most.

Saying his success is due to his O-Line play is the functional equivalent of saying it is due to his "stellar height." Just admit you are hopelessly wrong and move along.

And you took it out of my first comment which was about the OP.... which is stating that RW success against those top flight QBs has a lot to do with the people around him not just RW.

Wilson is a perfect QB for the Hawks. From his decision making, ability to go through his progressions quickly, his mobility and how he uses it without taking contact, his ability to step up in the big moment.

Would not trade him for anyone.

You're absolutely right. He's the perfect fit for you all and the future is very bright for the hawks.

I can't think of many QBs that have been or currently are, as consistently cool and collected as this kid.

I think that's the biggest testament for the work a QB puts in.

You are right, that your comment was misconstrued. And that other things play a part in RWs success.

You never said RW was not doing very well, you just added reasons for why, outside of his own performance.

He's incredibly poised and mature for his age. I really like his off field persona. Great and humble competitor.

Seattle deserves a heck of a lot more respect than they are getting and it's really about time people get used to the fact that yeah they are that good. Russell Wilson was the 75th pick in his draft class because of his height and a lot of the team is made up of 5th rounders and walk-ons.

Teams like this only come around once in a awhile and Seattle must win it all this year, because next year, no one will be able to afford these guys. These is what a NFL franchise lives for and I hope they make the best of it. It's about time.

They're regarded as probably the best team in the NFL this year by pretty much everyone. How is that not enough respect?

1) Until Seattle wins a SB the fans of other teams are not going to respect them.

2) Who gives a flying fuck what some retard on the internet thinks?

3) Ever notice they diss each other as well? Kind of what they do up here. Not many pats on the back to be found.

I think most fans have picked Seattle to be one of 3 possible teams from the NFC right now that can make the Super Bowl. Only teams that I think can stand in their way are Detroit (too turnover prone but if they could put one perfect game together they are a tough team to beat), San Fran (defense is starting to come together and offensively they are getting some of their weapons back, different team than earlier in the year), and Carolina (good enough front seven to cause problems for the Seattle offense and Cam is a very hit or miss guy so no telling what he will do in a game). Now Seattle should beat all of those teams at home but come playoff time you just never quite know what is going to happen. That isn't showing disrespect to Seattle it is showing respect to the NFL in that any team can win on any given Sunday especially when it comes to playoff time (both #1 seeds lost last year at home).

Now I will say some of the disrespect to Seattle fans comes from the fact that 1) many of us from the ESPN board remember the few (notice I didn't say all) Seattle fans that went around to just about every board possible saying Seattle is the best and everybody else sucks. So many still have a very sour taste in their mouth from all that crap. 2) Many Seattle fans on here are very sensitive it seems like for anybody to suggest anything but a Seattle victory at the end of the year. That is 2 months away and there is a whole host of things that could happen between now and then so to be angry at anybody for saying a certain team is not in the Superbowl at the beginning of December is just ridiculous. Get over it. This is a place to discuss with fans differing views on things and if we all agreed on everything where is the fun in that? Can't get butt hurt every time somebody doesn't say "Seattle is the greatest."

You might be overrating your team a little. Just in the last twenty five years we've had a Dallas team win 3 Super Bowls in 4 years, a Packers team in back to back Super Bowls with the number 1 offense, defense, and special teams, a Denver team that won back to back Super Bowls, a Patriots team that won 3 in 4 years, the Steelers who went to 3 Super Bowls in 6 years, and my homer pick of a Packers team who followed up a Super Bowl win with a 15-1 season. I'm sure I'm forgetting a team in there somewhere.

"Team like this"

I am in my mid 40's been watching since i was a kid from Bradshaw to Montana etc there is a BIG difference in the rules today then from years past, does anyone honestly think the Peyton,Brady's etc of today would have near enough TD's etc if they played 20 years ago? not by a long shot the NFL is different today.

Shit i remember seeing WR's getting mauled 10 to 20 yards down field before the ball was even tossed,Seattle has no Brady or Peyton,Rodger's what it does have is this most impressive roster on both side's of the ball, without having cellar dweller seasons for years picking up first round picks like jelly donuts at Krispy Creme.

I can go into more but just do not feel like typing on it,if people cannot "Get" the jist of "What" i am saying you either have not watched much football are young or an idiot.

Brady and Bellechik won the lottery with the rule changes, they exploited it like any good coach should.

I agree their numbers would not be as good but I think they would still be HOF players.

The part i highlighted is utter BS,you are a fucking liar or soo naive it is beyond belief i remember you from ESPN,did you ever look at those few posters date of creation? it was Breaker and his butt buddy's.

Yah know i have i bet posted this maybe 50 times now and still just fly's over people like yours heads.

And cwood yes i remember you too and how you said the hawks were "Just lucky" "Havent played any good teams" etc etc,God i wish i had the full databasecopy of all those with a searchable engine so i could copy and SHOW what you guys said and what those sockpuppet accounts ala fake Hawk fans that were Breaker and Princess,Juice etc.

1950s - Lions had 3 championships
1960s - Packers had 5 championships
1970s - Steelers had 4 championships
1980s - Niners had 4 championships
1990s - Cowboys had 3 championships in 4 years
2000s - Patriots had 3 championships in 4 years

Can you see why calling an 11-1 team a once in a quarter century team might be getting a bit ahead of yourself? Seattle looks like the best team this year, but there is a best team every season.
