Vote tally update... for DL bust

CLE Courtney Brown - 3 (thedddd, bridgeburner, cincyfan)
PIT Darryl Sims - 2 (face, superbelt)
CLE Gerard Warren - 1 (dtgold)

Give it the rest of the day to give @Pure Steel @CrashDavisSports @Maximus Rex @cincygrad @Stakesarehigh some time to chime in

Names that have been discussed the most:
CLE - Courtney Brown or Gerard Warren
PIT - Gabe Rivera or Darryl Sims
CIN - Wilkinson & Copeland... but mostly dismissed due to "average play". Koch isn't getting much steam.
BAL - Terrence Cody... 2nd Rd pick doesn't seem to stack up to the others discussed

Easily Sims
Decided to check him out and if it's OK I'm changing my vote to Sims. I get picked much later than Warren but he didn't do much more than I did in his career.

Realize that makes it a tie so hopefully you get another vote to break it, @FaCe-LeE-uS

I would have picked Sims over Rivera for the Steelers, if Gabe wasn’t at fault for his injury. He caused it, otherwise Sims was hot garbage

I'll go with Sims. Brown was my initial thought, but I didn't realize there were all of the injury issues. Like others have mentioned, I don't really like holding those against the player.

I hear you, but I just can't vote for a guy who got paralyzed as a bust. I want on-field suckage to determine bust status for our prestigious list that @FaCe-LeE-uS has so kindly put together. I get it if others want to, though.

I understand but a bust can be determined different ways, because off the field issues can cause players to be busts.

I see it no different than a player getting suspended/kicked out the league for drugs. If they made the choice to ruin their careers I view them in this category.

That is the beauty of this, as it is all how we interpret it and our opinions. Honestly none are wrong as there is a common theme with everyone one of these players they never lived up to their potential.

Looks like it’s time to move on to LB for the AFCN ALL-BUST team!

This one should be spicy.

Pitt - Devon Bush. Steelers traded into the top 10 to draft at #10.

Browns - Mingo, drafted 6th overall in 1st round.

Bengals - Keith Rivers, drafted 9th overall (in the case of Wilson and Pollack, I believe both were moved to DE and did not play LB).

Ravens - Can't really think of one off hand...maybe Kindle, but he had a severe head injury that ended his career, much like Pollack and his broken neck - not sure I'm going to put either in that bust category specifically over guys who played and stunk.

For me...Bush by a hair over Mingo if only because the Steelers traded up, in a rare move for them, to draft him.

Man, it may be some recency bias, but I'll have a hard time not going with Devin Bush here... Steelers swapped 1sts & gave up a 2nd & 3rd to move up 10 spots in the 2019 draft to select Devin Bush. He had a pretty damn solid rookie year though before his controller became unplugged. He had a bad knee injury & was never the same. So for those that don't want to knock a guy for injuries... Make that what you will. He went to Seattle & then to Cleveland. From what I recall he had a bit of a resurgence in Cleveland, but landed himself in hot water over a physical altercation at a massage parlor just this offseason.

But Junkin... Only made it 2 seasons with the Browns before they parted ways. And only started a measly 7 games. He played 1 more season with the Cheifs, before he called it quits on his career.
