I'm 51..... But I was 28 when I started posting on the ESPN Bengals board. LOL.

Yeah, I think I stumbled across those boards in the very early 2000's...for sure by 2002, because posted often after I went back to school at 23...man, those were some wild and lawless times...

I still wonder what happened to BCD and Kramer, though I know he was around for a moment here...and Channey's alter-ego, SolomonKnows....lol

Yeah, don't think it was Kramer...all I can kind of recall is that dude drank...A lot. He was with some lady (GF or married not sure) who was a diehard Steelers fan...it was the bane of his existence...LOL

Well as @cincygrad said a while back... Imagine how many more posts this thread would have if Baltimore fans knew how to use the internet

Lefty sticks to the FF boards. Blue & Money occasionally come around. Don't think Dead2009 or that Brandon guy are around anymore. Oldschool is a confirmed racist & got run off (not officially banned). Tgann got the boot.

I can't imagine that BCD is still alive.... He often talked about a heart condition and didn't think he'd be around too long. Bengal Doug also most definitely passed. As for Kramer.... From his stories, he was living like a rock-star. Not sure he was long for this world either.

I don't know why. Maybe cause Lamb & Pickens are becoming best friends, but with health to him and his QB, Pickens is going to kick ass this season.

Pickens in the proper situation will be VERY good.

We'll see long term how it works out. I'm curious because - if we can be a bit honest here - Pickens is a complete asshole. He doesn't try hard when things are going HIS way, is standoff-ish and fairly selfish with regards to football in general. That doesn't mean winning, that means passes, catches, TD's...all about him.

I find it interesting because - usually that's a bit of a trait that comes out after a few years of high level success, which Pickens has not had by any stretch. What happens when/if he DOES have that kind of year? AB on steroids? Maybe I'm a little overly dramatic with the projection here...but I am curious to see how Pickens handles any kind of real success...but to this point, he's not handled anything all that well...

Oh right there with you, I was just going off of stats alone he will have a great season in the right situation. The on/off-field drama will kill him from having any long-term success in any one place.

The setup is certainly in place...if Dak can stay healthy (and a fair question since he's missed at least some time in 3 of the last 5 years and more than half in 2 of those).

Dallas will be interesting to watch and see how it all plays out.
