I mean...It's sad to say considering the positivity just a couple years ago: this iteration of the White Sox roster is not going to be a legitimate contender. The worst part is they're in a limbo where you can't blow it up so the only option would be to double down, and we're not going to because #Jerry. Gonna be some .500 give or take baseball for the next few years from the looks of it. Whole buncha nothing.

I think .500 would be a stretch. This current roster finishes 3rd in the AL Central. And before you think 'CSF is just a salty bozo', you will recall I was literally correct calling the 2022 team a .500 team in that one thread. So, this means I know shit when I see it. Driving past the park daily, I sometimes wish a sinkhole opened up and enveloped it all.
