Wake me up in 2045...if possible. You fellows are all doom and gloom - this is typical of the Sox - every 40-50 years enough things go right, and the Sox win a championship.

Yowza. Jerry was paying him peanuts just the other year.Rodon to the Yankees on a huge deal. Biggest contract they’ve ever given a pitcher after Cole.
he's like 38 years old
How sad is it that my first response to seeing this is “what’s wrong with him?”
That's why Hahn is zeroing in on him. He's right in that over the hill Griffey/Manny Ramirez age range the Sox are comfortable with.he's like 38 years old
rodon is one guy i'll never blame the sox for. he was a complete loser for the sox almost his whole tenure. he had had one good year (and even that year couldn't stay healthy) and that was his 'money' year after six seasons of crap! he was a walking physical basket case and why should they invest more than they'd already lost in him? i hope he breaks a toe walking out to the mound on his first start and later discovers he has dupuytren contracture. he was a wasted top pick!Yowza. I do find the contract size a bit baffling from the Yankees.rodon is one guy i'll never blame the sox for. he was a complete loser for the sox almost his whole tenure. he had had one good year (and even that year couldn't stay healthy) and that was his 'money' year after six seasons of crap! he was a walking physical basket case and why should they invest more than they'd already lost in him? i hope he breaks a toe walking out to the mound on his first start and later discovers he has dupuytren contracture. he was a wasted top pick!
Chicago tradition. Looks at the Bears.as for turner ..... i no longer care. has to be the worst long term ownership in a baseball team in history. and the m$%^e#&(*ker will never sell. his #u@+ing kids will inherit the team and sox fans everywhere will live out their lives in fan-agony.
he's a journeyman outfielder. sox are so good at being average. he'll probably take robert's place when he leaves."Highest Contract in White Sox History"
Never heard of him. LOL
I read it's not a horrible signing though...We'll see.
Good signing considering what's left. Good D - lefty bat - 20 hr guy. If the Sox can keep Timmy, Robert, Eloy, Vaughn and Moncada healthy and productive - they don't need superstars but steady contributors. We will see how the contract is structured. but Benintendi played for $8 million last year. Still need a left starter, a 2nd baseman and additional help at catcher.
Yeah, this signing is actually halfway decent.Good signing considering what's left. Good D - lefty bat - 20 hr guy.
