Well that sucks disease infested, open sore bull testicles. Particularly when considering there's only 32 of those jobs available.The problem with big arms is systemic. Talent scouts all know the exact same things you just stated, however, they are powerless to do anything about it. If you give a recommendation for a strong armed physically gifted QB to be drafted and they fail, you can fall back on the fact that he DID possess all the qualities you stated. If you give a recommendation for a QB who isn't a superior physical athlete, you have nothing to fall back on if they fail, because your recommendation was based on intangibles with no quantifiable property, and the scout loses his job. In essence a scout is forced to go on strictly physical properties of quarterbacks when making recommendations to their teams.
