Define play well? He will be going up against good teams...one of which embarrassed him. If he wins the Super bowl, sure, keep him. These teams will blitz him without mercy. He has not played good teams well this year.
Again, I am much more interested in a full body of work instead of a flash in the pan. Wentz is what he is and I see no upside to him. He is on his 3rd team in 3 years and nobody in the NFL wanted him except the commanders. Same with Rivera, his body world work is not that good at all..especially the past 5 years. No other coach would be employees by a team after 5 straight losing seasons. It is simply not done in the league.

Yes, I think he needs to go. His play is too eratic and he is not improving. I was against the trade from the get go. We need a starting QB for this franchise and wentz is not it. We can get a better than QB than Wentz. You are not understanding that aspect. You claim you simply want a better QB but refuse to believe one exists.


As I have said previously, if this was a court of law, is their enough evidence to convict Wentz of being a dependable, long term franchise QB for us? The answer is no. If we get to 9 wins, yes, he should go. That means he would have gone 7-7 correct? That is not good enough to retain him.
We need the 2nd round pick and cap room more than an erratic QB who cannot be trusted with the game on the line.

We need a starting QB, not Wentz. I know you believe in him, but his 6 years in the league and his first 6 games here proved what I thought I knew.

You are assuming either the cowboys, giants or 49ers fall apart and that nobody else improves.
You are assuming wernz plays better than he did at the start of the year.
You are assuming we win 5 out of 8 games.
You are assuming we win a playoff game.

Way too many what ifs. Not out of the realm of possibility but the fact remains about Wentz. What has he done in his career and on this team that justifies him staying here? I know you badly want him here and I can't understand that. You have come up with 5 what ifs just to see if we should keep him. You need to ask yourself, why did no other team want to trade for him? Why did he struggle in his first 6 games here? Why are most posters disagreeing with you about Wentz?

I am guessing the trade basically means 5 games. I am not sure if the trade is based off of total games or total snaps.

Davis was selected way too high (not a 1st rounder) and Holcomb is a back up imo. We need better drafting analysis from our so called experts in house. I am all-in on getting this regime out of here with new ownership.
