Huntley is the better qb. LJ will not get the contract he’s looking for (reported to be Watson type contract)

I havent heard any kind of #'s, but did hear someone repot they were far apart. So, if it is a fully guaranteed contract. They should be far apart. The Browns contract is stupid.

There's also a bit of a difference between luring a player to your team against several others

I won't say I even remotely agree with Watson getting a guaranteed deal but between that and him having the slightest ability to throw a deep ball.

Jackson wasn't just bad on deep balls last year...he was Zach Wilson bad

I've placed several MVP bets on Lamar over the course of the offseason. Him turning down contracts to go into prove it mode this season to get some crazy contract, I'm all in. He's going to have a monster year.

If Lamar has a monster year it will be similar to the Joe Flacco situation for Ravens, they'll be under a lot pressure to cave, but if Lamar only has a decent year well that's a different story.

I think the Ravens are being smart.
They are kinda in that situation like on TV when you watch poker. A guy has a great hand, but cant win. Is he smart enough to lay it down or will he go all in & lose.

I don't mean to disparage the guy and drag this out but he's not smart lol.

Maybe in a sense between the tackles he is obviously but...yea.

I appreciate having confidence in yourself but he just had a year of which his backup played just as well.

Flacco didn't even have a monster year really. He just had an absolute monster postseason run. He is already the youngest player to ever win MVP. He has shown he can do it. Last season he was flatout taking over games late and then he got injured. I don't think the Ravens have done a good job at all with surrounding him with talent on offense besides his TE and that's why part of me thinks he just wants to get out of there.

But either way, this season he is going to be going 110% actively going to have a great season.

His backup didn't play as well. If Lamar doesn't get injured then the Ravens make the playoffs. Huntley didn't have any games like Lamar did against the Cotls last year.

Kinda reminds me of Melvin Gordon. Him holding out for more money backfired on him. Instead of taking his big deal.

Part of the issue is that with the offense they run having a bunch of money wrapped in Wideout is kind of pointless. JK is a good back he just got injured.

Nice of you to pick his absolute best game of the year. How were the other 11

And Leveon

But Lamar is about to make a Dennis Schroder level error he keeps this going.

Huntley is not Lamar, but he surprised and could be a decent QB.....maybe, I like him for the right price and won't of minded seeing him be the Seahawks QB this season. He's a flyer type, got some upside but a lot to prove.

I think if you gave a top tier WR to Lamar like all the other great young QBs have in the league then you would see some special things.

He's a very quality backup but he isn't Lamar. Lamar is unquestionably better.

Your right it was the playoff run, he got hot at the right time. Lamar game seems much more vulnerable to decline since it's really Lamar running that makes him and RBs don't last for long. I'd recommend he talk a decent market offer as long as the guarantee money is right.

Im certainly not saying he's as good.. that would be ridiculous. But he did enough to make Baltimore pause on how much of Lamar's success is because they designed an offense tailored for him.

No one is quite the package Lamar is athletically. Although I'm sure Baltimore would look at a guy like Richardson from UF and think they could do the same there

Correct, no one thinks he's better then Lamar, but he was a pleasant surprise for the Ravens last season.
