Dont think they want to move Burke into the starting role but he's thinly one I see performing, that could possibly be successful. Guys like Alexy and Winn haven't stepped up and taken advantage. It hasn't been a good year on the development front for lots of these prospects we thought were due here, this year or next.

Tinoco is expected to be replaced on the active roster by Mitch Garver, who is making a rehab appearance for Frisco tonight. That would leave only Glenn Otto on the COVID list. Once Otto is activated, the Rangers will need to clear both an active roster spot for him and a 40 man roster spot. Per Lone Star Ball

Currently, the Rangers are the 10th best team in the AL with a .470 winning percentage. Over a season that would give them 76 wins. That is pretty much what we all expected back when the season began wasn't it?

We would draft 12th in 2023 as it stands now.

I guess I am not seeing what is jumping out to you in regards to Foscue. In June he is hitting .200.

I guess I am not seeing what is jumping out to you in regards to Foscue. In June he is hitting .200.

Foscue is playing pretty well. He had a bad 6 game stretch June 10-16th. Missed the first 7 days of June on the IL. If he gets back into his normal groove of hitting and getting on base AAA is definitely within the the realm of possibility. He has a .850 OPS and hasn’t really even gone on a tear yet, which I’m expecting soon from him.

I did notice his OPS but from what I can see he started tending downward in the middle of May. I only mention it because his name pops up a lot on this board.

I really dont care too much. Think he will go back down eventually and someone will need to take the hit. Unlike most I think Howard has a chance if if he gets his head together and learns to minimize the clinkers.
Doubt if he is ready yet

They do seem to baby these pitchers and have low expectations for innings pitched.

Not seeing a good solution for Hearn who blew it against lowly Detroit
Sure don’t want a bullpen game. If they leave him up and keep Howard down, I guess it is on for now. Just take our lumps.
I think bringing up Cole now is premature. I like him and we need to do him right
