The review judges said that at one point Heim blocked the path of the runner to the plate but the replay shows that occurred while Andrés was not even halfway to the plate and once Heim caught the ball he was clear of the plate and Andrés had a clear path

I noticed at least 5-10 times last night when the HP umpire called strikes on Rangers RH batters that were 5 to 6 inches outside. It was so obvious.

And even the WS announcers couldn’t believe the call on Heim they openly stated it was a bad call

Ragans did well in his start last night. Pitched 4 innings giving up 3 hits which one a solo HR and struck out 7 while walking just 1. Glad to see he is where he needed to be. In his 5.2 innings of work he has 10 strikeouts and 3 walks and 4 hits.

Something I’ve noticed in the last 2 weeks.

when the rangers have guys on base and are hitting, the umpire expands the zone widely.

when the other team has guys on base and is hitting, the umpire shrinks the zone.

the calls in the angels series were egregiously bad and now we just got screwed again. yay

Rangers are no longer under the radar. We are not surprising anyone anymore. We are targets and have to play that much better
Fortunately the pen has stepped up some but our SP is regressing a little
Hitting is a mixed bag
