I can’t help but wonder where this Mariners team would be with a positive run differential. If this is the record they have being heavily out scored, they could be dominating baseball otherwise.

Anthony Misiewicz is a one man wrecking crew. When he enters a game, he wrecks it. A big need for 2022 is a legit LH RP stud.

Once again, not really taking advantage of some key losses from some opponents in the WC standing.
Definitely felt like the biggest opportunity to stagger the Sox a little was in the 4th with the bases loaded. Sox definitely not gonna let their opportunities pass by.

I really didn't get the move. But that isn't the first time.

its marmo....or...Jake Bauers 5...choose one..........not two..............cuz pitching is...at premium.......

unfortunately.....for marmo.......i think the mariners...will be going in another direction....than marmo...in the offseason...and this is...the...... tell(poker)..
or the signal.........

seth beer s..first MLBat bats...against the mariners
either..smith or ...beer..would do for me...yeah this would be a trade..........Nick Margevicius 52 IL-60Ljay Newsome 74 IL-60
Pavin Smith 26....L/L
Seth Beer 28..L/R
if they made this trade ...bauer would be sure to be in it..so smith may be the fav..in this one

these guys are not worthless for...arizona....there is 5..and maybe 6 guys,,,,while...arizona is trying to...re-build....bauers still has upside...
as does margevicius..and newsome..and riso
and..
we know..moore..is really good on defence...and would prob hit better...in national league........arizona..likes moore...going forward...
and moore is a base stealer..and pr...so...national league knows how to deal...with guys like moore

and at very least...these guys help arizona.....hold the line..........

while they are busy..with other guys..prob...pitching is what they need most...............

this many guy.s..would mess with..arizona's 40 man...so prob is not exactly the case...prob a few ..minors guys in there..like
Darren McCaughan 22...who i could not get a value on....but he is more of a national league pitcher....

getting pavin smith...would prob require...
Anthony Misiewicz 38...Nick Margevicius 52 IL-60Darren McCaughan 45 MINORSLjay Newsome 74 IL-60
and maybe moore as well...lolol..who knows..........lol

then...beer...who they got in..the houston trade...for.....

Arizona Diamondbacks traded RHP Zack Greinke and cash to Houston Astros for RHP Corbin Martin, RHP J.B. Bukauskas, 3B Josh Rojas and LF Seth Beer.
however....
if they trade
beer
or
pavin smith...to the mariners....then....the greinke...trade..is a trade....that keeps on giving......for arizona...

and Rojas..is good as well

Lucky nobody got hurt earlier when there was a blunder by the outfielders and nobody was communicating. Fraley fell and almost got hurt. I'm not saying it was Kelenic's fault but over and over we are seeing communication issues in the plays he's involved in and someones going to get hurt if they don't fix this crap. He may be playing CF but he's not playing like a CF and taking control and calling the other guys off if he can make the catch.

Don't get me wrong....I like Kelenic a hell of a lot and see him as a real asset moiving forward. What I think he needs to understand is that he doesn't always have to be the "star" and make all the plays. I agree, communication needs a big "upgrade" out there and I hope the coaching staff drill that issue home......particularly with J K.

Boy we crapped the bed this homestand. Our outfielders are just lost out there. I watched Fraley turn a fly ball into a double early in the game then turned it off. They are back to being the old Mariners. Not their fault when ownership/management doesn't even believe in them enough to go for it at the deadline. It sure is paying off for the Jays and did for a few weeks for the Yanks. They both turned lesser assets into valuable additions for the run. Maybe next year X 20.

Marmo is just too good for the team. No one wants anyone to set a precedent for anyone else on the roster.

I am not saying he is great or anything, but any guy that hits .360 in AAA should not just be let loose from a team that has very few real options.

True. That makes me believe even more that Servais doesn't care about winning. Being this close to season's end, though, it's obvious they still have too many players that can't compete.

Best to just miss the postseason intentionally than look like idiots upon getting in the Wild Card round.

I have said for decades now that playoffs for management/ownership is great in some ways but also brings expectations and expectations cost owners money and management jobs. In the end it is always a business. I don't blame any of the players. They are what they are. Oh well, bring on try #21 to make playoffs next year.

With that... I feel like this season is close to being done in terms of postseason hopes. 4 games back with 16 left to play and having to jump over 4 different teams feels a bit of a tough task imo. Jays already won with Yankees and A's leading their opponents, so this lead may widen by the end of the day. You're looking at a 2-5% chance of making the playoffs as things stands and they could make it, but it'll be very difficult.

Need to smack KC around a little bit to continue to have hope.

These boys exceeded expectations this year and I have really high hopes for them next season. Still an excellent season imo.
