If they had demanded that they would still be in the big 12Aggie about to find out they should have got that gentleman's agreement on the in-state veto put down on paper.

Yeah, they should have known that was bullshit. Can you imagine what would happen to South Carolina or Florida (Georgia Tech and Louisville don't have the stroke) if it became knowledge they vetoed Clemson or FSU?If they had demanded that they would still be in the big 12
The former Longhorn Network would most likely be converted to SEC Network III. There's already an SEC Network and an SEC Alternative Feed via the ESPN networks. See the latest SEC Shorts for an amusing look at the Texas/Oklahoma addition. There isn't a chance in hell the SEC lets Texas in with that Longhorn Network still intact. Is ESPN going to buy it out?
Hey, they play two or three tough games a year now. But they usually lose at least one of them.I guess OU will actually have to play more than 1 tough game a year.
A team who's schedule contains a G5 and a FCS opponent every single year shouldn't be casting stones about another teams schedule.Hey, they play two or three tough games a year now. But they usually lose at least one of them.
Sounds like that’s exactly what UT and ESPN have agreed to. Curious as to if there were any financial compensation as well though…The former Longhorn Network would most likely be converted to SEC Network III. OU will enter the SEC as the 3rd or 4th best team. However, an Oklahoma team with two losses in the SEC has a better chance of getting into the playoffs than an Oklahoma team with two losses in the Big 12.OU has shown they take a back seat to no one. Yeah a title has alluded us recently but that is going to change. The defense is getting better anyway but honestly none of these previous numbers matter. The ability to recruit on a level basis will be huge for OU, all they need. OU will enter the SEC as the number 2 program in the conference.
Behind who? Alabama I can see but who else, honestly. If you even say Florida you should slap yourself in the face just as we slapped Florida around in the bowl game just months ago.OU will enter the SEC as the 3rd or 4th best team
Georgia and A&M for startersBehind who? Alabama I can see but who else, honestly. If you even say Florida you should slap yourself in the face just as we slapped Florida around in the bowl game just months ago.

Yep, the first two teams are pretty much garbage. But playing Kansas is the equivalent of playing Texas A2M.
Georgia, for one; and, some years, LSU.Behind who? Alabama I can see but who else, honestly. If you even say Florida you should slap yourself in the face just as we slapped Florida around in the bowl game just months ago.

Flips through booklet to see when AtM's last conference title...….. 1998 (1 in Big12, 0 in SEC)OK, you're an OU fan so I get how you have a hard time comparing 9-1, #4 ranking at the end of the season, coached by 1 of 5 active coaches to win a title in FCS to 0-9 and a dumpster fire, but it shouldn't be that difficult to figure out. Even for an Okie.
