There could be more than meets the eye with the Steelers and David DeCastro
Once factoring in all the data, there may be a reason to question DeCastro’s status for 2021.

I know its early and we shouldn't overreact about injuries this time of year... but his own comments on his fire to play are definitely concerning.I'm agnostic on this.
He was apparently playing injured last season and still was the strong link on the line (Which could be the tallest of the midgets.)
But if he's ready to retire and they have a pro-bowl alternative ready to go, fine.
Steelers Declining 5th year Option on Terrell Edmunds.
So he's a FA next year. Either they want to move on or they think they can resign him cheaper than the $6.7MM for that option. His current cap hit for this year is about $3.4MM. So that is a significant jump.
Not surprised. Did improve but as a 1st round pick he should have been better than ehh.
Somethin I hadn't thought of before... But the Steelers picked up Minkah's 5th year option. Picking up Edmunds' option would have meant tying up $30m into their safeties in a single season.Yup, was never a fan, always in wrong place, took bad angles and looked like a pick due to Tomlin’s friendship with the family and his Va roots.....
Hes been a massive disappointment. Pary bc of how weve used him.Anyone heard any word on Trai Turner or Malik Hooker?
Also, to noone's surprise, Jaylen Samuels probably won't make the team per reports.
I see no tweet?
