Local news just did a segment on CP3 testing positive for the virus. Apparently he is vaccinated.

You really shouldn't be saying anything more at this point. The majority of your issues with him started after he left your team. And remember you did say this.

You're just look for any reason to have an issue with him.

So, what you're saying is I'm not allowed to have a free thought? I should just fall in-line. I've already broken down my approach with Lebron, you continue to harp on the same tired topic (which I called). All I can say is you're a stupid motherfucker and just put me on ignore at this point. Good day.

It's hilarious you're not able to understand basic concepts. Way to show your ass on this one.

Ummm....you really think that's it? Lebron has fed into the constant narrative that black people are hunted by police to the tune of several million of his followers. As a result, violence against police have gone up. Also, black deaths have also subsequently gone up due to the uprising in violence in most big cities across the country. Lebron doesn't have to worry about this though as he has security around him and leaves in a nice gated community. And no, I do not agree with his politics. I just find it ironic that a man swears up and down by Malcom X, yet is throwing himself on the same stage as Hillary Clinton.

Lebron is a race baiter. Plain and simple. Feel free to disagree.

I do disagree.

There are some seriously messed up things going on out there, and people must talk about it with open minds to fix it.

The divide is due to people from both sides escalating tensions, it is not a 1 sided thing. And those who continue to ignore and say that we don’t have race equity issues in America are just as much at fault for the divide. So I hope you aren’t just blaming 1 side for this.

Anyhow, last I will say on this topic. Back to basketball!

Good for her!

I bet quite a few teams will be reaching out during the off season.

I can see it now:

Alright guys, Ms. Jane is going to lead us through our first team building session of training camp. Line up and take off your pants!

What's funny is how you were a LeBron for the four years he was in Miami only to turn around 30 seconds later and have the issues. Kid, you're a dumbass homer. You tried, but failed, to compare to wiggy yesterday. Yet it's you who have done the same thing he did about LeBron. Both of you rooted for him when he played for your team. And both of you all of the sudden got the issues once he left.

Buddy, that's sports. Once you're not on my team, I'm rooting against you. I don't have any obligation to cheer for any player that played for the Heat wherever they go. My dislike for him, and I'll try to word it differently since you're a bit slow apparently, has stemmed from his approach on a variety of social issues. Before, my dislike was strictly on the court. Does that make sense?

Dude, I'm convinced Wamu is a burner account for Lebron. Dude just wants everyone to like Lebron. Who gives a fuck if someone doesn't like a player that they used to root for (when he was on their team)? What a pussy.

Yes and no. Lebron has a responsibility with the level of fame and popularity he has. Attempting to dox a police officer as it related the the Bryant shooting in Ohio was extreme and irresponsible of him. It's no small feat either as he did two things:

1) Further stoke the fire that exists with police in the public image right now; which he was wrong.
2) Attempt to ruin a police officer's life in the process.

Lebron has also stated publicly that black people are hunted down by police every single day. This is disingenuous and dangerous and actually does far more harm than good.

Lebron is on one of those extreme sides that you talked about. If you're going to talk about something, make sure you're well versed and educated on the topic if you have a large influence. He has the latter, but not the former.

I think that Lebron, like all of us, is a mixed bag. What's the saying? "No one is as good as their best day or as bad as their worst day". That's definitely true with what we see from Lebron. He's used his money and fame to do some incredible things and he gets and deserves praise for that.

But, he's also done things like what he tweeted re: that police officer where he reacted emotionally, in the moment and tweeted something he shouldn't have, that could have had tragic results.

As bad as it was, I can understand to a point, that initial tweet. It was an emotional response that, without social media, likely goes no further than a few people who may have been around to hear him say it. But with twitter...it gets out to millions in a matter of moments.

What I do have an issue with though, is that when he realized what actually happened and what he had just put out there, he just deleted the tweet and blamed "haters" instead of using it as a "teachable moment" about why it's necessary to get all of the info before reacting.

Folks in Lebron's stratosphere have a lot of influence and it's important that they be very careful about what they are putting on social media. Like it or not, fair or not, someone like Lebron tweeting something, whether it's good or bad, can have much more serious ramifications than some regular person tweeting the same thing. That can be pretty easy to forget when reacting from emotion.

He is well educated about these topics for sure.

@trojanfan12 is right in that his issue is that he sometimes reacts emotionally on social media. That is not productive in any way.

And unfortunately, too many influential people on both sides make this mistake.

Whatever you say wiggy 2.0. So you had no problem with him when he was on your team. But once he left you got all butthurt. There's no reason to continue this. You really don't understand how much of a dumbass homer you truly are. Rooting for a player only to have issues with him the moment he left your team is lame.

He really is coming across like Wiggy.

BKS and TurnUp don't come across anything like him and they are loyal Heat fans who would also have reason to hate James......but they don't.

Sorry, I think your off base on this.

We all root for laundry and we have zero control over who the teams we root for decide to draft/trade for/sign. So, if your team gets a player that you don't like...are you required to find a new team? I've been plenty critical of Lebron, but I'm not going to stop being a Lakers fan because they signed him. I'm going to enjoy the wins, cringe over (and criticize) some of the shit that he does/says that I don't like. When he leaves, I won't be rooting for him anymore.

Is that somewhat hypocritical? Of course it is. But that's part of being a fan. Like when Vlade and D-Fish were Lakers and I'd cheer when they got away with flops that were called charging and blasted them for it when they did the same thing to the Lakers playing for other teams. lol

If Heatles were trying to claim that Lebron is no longer a great player, or was saying something as stupid as Wiggy with his "Lebron's legacy is tarnished" because when he went to the Lakers he didn't lead a bunch of kids to a championship in his first season (ignoring that he has never won a championship in his first season, even in his prime), then you would have a point...but I haven't seen him do that.

So you don't think it's possible that you can dislike a players off the court stuff, but like how good he is at the sport he plays?

You were always happy with everything Kobe did off the court (and even on the court) at times?
