I think winning either Game 3 or Game 4 in L.A. will be most important. In a way, I compare this to baseball last fall. Phillies went undefeated at home before being no-hit in Game 4 of the World Series. Shifted the script entirely. We win one of those two games and we’re going to the finals… That’s my prediction.

Nuggets in 6. I know some people believe in ref conspiracies and that the league will help the Lakers, but such things aren't true. Nuggets have been great this season and they have a great homecourt advantage.

Yeah, a lotta this is gonna depend on how AD matches up against Joker, and if he can play on a consistent high level...

Nuggets rely heavily on 2 players that have been pretty injury prone. If Porter and Murray stay healthy I think they are probably favorites to win everything.

If I’m the Lakers, I put Vanderbilt on Jokic. Jokic needs to be defended as if he’s a unique perimeter player that has the ability to post. Vanderbilt’s one of the top 5 guys out there to be able to handle the perimeter while also bringing size. This allows them to hide AD on Aaron Gordon and be a rim defender. The tougher cover for the Lakers in my eyes is Murray. So maybe the Lakers don’t see it my way and put AD on Joker so Vanderbilt can play Murray. It will be interesting to see how they play it.

Since 2019 Murray loses about a quarter of the season if you exclude the full season lost. He played 2 full seasons before that though.

Porter is always a sneeze away from out. He was probably a top 5 pick otherwise.

AD on Joker so Vandy on Murray is how I think they do it. Those are the 2 players they gotta contain.
