What’s the deal with CP3? I know he has a unique contract with outs. I think there is one this summer. Can they do a sign and trade? Do they bring him back? Does he have a role with this group? Not sure.

Only 15m guaranteed so he could be stretched if they wanted

Or traded and stretched

I think he could opt out cause he might get more than the 15m guaranteed

Or maybe hes happy to get cut take his 15m and join the lakers for the minimum

Gotta be honest. That stuff is meaningless to assess in the NFL in May. Teams will still have cap casualties. Teams will still have signings and trades. Teams will have players get injuries. Because of the topsy turvy nature of teams from year to year, you also have the reality that there will be guaranteed surprises. Everybody thought the NFC East would be bad again last year. They were the best division in football with 3 playoff teams that all were playing the 2nd weekend in the NFC Final Four and the Redskins were like the first team out of the playoffs in the NFC if I remember correctly. There will also be surprises where teams fall short. Too many variables to rule on schedule quality now.

Damn good player. But he's on the wrong side of history. His teams have lost 5 playoff series in three different decades after being up 2-0. In '08, '13, '16, '21 <--Finals and '22.

I didn't say the whole series, I said most important. Team effort for sure but I remember last year in the closeout he didn't show up and really got the feeling he just gave up. Great player, doesn't seem to step up in the biggest moments. Hot take

Yeah, I disagree.

I don’t think game 6 was really much bigger than games 3 and 4.

Suns lose any of those and the series is basically done.

And Booker came up huge there.

Book is a very good player. And he showed who he is in the playoffs. Capable of carrying a team at times, but not consistent enough to be a superstar.
